The Hot Lava promotional skin is obtrusive and appears in every character's skins, please add a way to hide or remove it.

Little update. I contacted Klei support to ask if the skin could simply be removed from my inventory: turns out this is impossible, even Klei themselves don't have the ability to remove a loyal skin if requested. With that in mind, my initial complaint feels a bit more reasonable imo. There's a variety of reasons that one might not want a specific loyal skin, so I hope that the team will consider adding some way to scrap them.

That's honestly just weird.

How can they not remove a cosmetic from your account that they themselves added....???

noone is lying it just means the code they wrote does not allow it even from the back-end and they are not going to rewrite the code to make it so it can be allowed. same way a kebab shop is not able to make ramen. it isn't suspicious it is just not how the whole thing is set up to work.
