Me too, friend.

I'm hoping that they provide more news when they release the next Intermission short/Beta; while it isn't confirmed that either release this week, it's probably in Klei's best interest to do so if they want the next update to be good and ready in time for Klei Fest next month.

Although unfortunate, we're more likely to receive news when the next update fully releases, because it makes sense for it to be alongside the update that'll likely conclude the story arc as a whole, maybe even explaining how Elsewhere came to be.

I don’t know about the rest of the world, but I just preordered the new Lego dark knight legacy & hopefully that keeps my time occupied until Elsewhere releases on consoles (unlikely though cause it’s not even on steam pc yet!) I guess to tell the truth about it I’m more excited for Elsewhere then I am GTA 6 or my new Lego game. A new DS entry has been long long overdue, and unlike most games which have “endings” DS/DST/DSE being Sandbox games can provide near endless hours of entertainment. At some point I’ll do everything there is to do in a “Lego” Game, but DS has been truly unique, there’s no real goal, you just do whatever you want whenever you want… and I’m looking forward to the new biomes & mobs of DSE. If I can build a boat, set out and sail and find interesting places to explore that are different each game that’s even better! So as much as I’m loving “Lego Arkham” and as long as I’ve waited “GTA 6” I am most excited for Elsewhere.

Maybe I’m in the minority here… maybe not a lot of people are as excited for Elsewhere as I am, But for me to want to play THAT over Lego Arkham or GTA 6, it means Klei has a winning long lasting formula that can compete with top tier games.

I don't think we'll get anything before they finish the Shadow arc.

that's what I'm thinking too. It'd make sense for them to hold off until Elsewhere chronologically makes sense. Though i'm thinking the Shadow stuff probably isn't the end, I can see them doing maybe one grand finale between the lunar and shadow forces before the results of Elsewhere. :-o

I’m pretty sure they are just going to continue to do whatever random incoherent update idea they can come up with next that is likely heavily influenced by forum feedback, but has no actual tie in with the rest of the game. And there’s been many updates in the past that can back this claim. I can’t complain too much, new content is new content after all… but Dang do I sure wish they would go back to how Don’t Starve & it’s paid DLCs were handled for Xbox distribution it wasn’t released until all the content was put together into a singular experience & THEN released.

With DST it’s more of a “It’ll make sense several updates which is several years from now.”

I hate that, I’ve ALWAYS hated that, Klei when DSE DLC comes just let me pay you 5-15$ for an actual complete expansion experience that doesn’t get changed, modified or removed later, or take several years of updates to make sense.
