I feel completely left in the dark. We haven't been given any information regarding the new Beta, and this lack of transparency is preventing us from providing useful feedback. I’ve honestly lost my motivation to give feedback at this point. Random updates are dropping, and I have no idea what’s going on.

Please be more open with us and answer our questions. Why was there a sudden, massive change in Shadow affinity? Why were these nerfs implemented so abruptly? What kind of further changes should we expect? We don't even have an end date; for all we know, the update could go live in General Discussion five minutes from now without us ever being informed.

While I think this beta turned out (mostly) okay in the end this was maybe the most poorly handled beta I’ve seen from Klei. The content dropped early, and while it was okay for a bit to have some parts unfinished the affinity skills dropping FOUR days before the live release is a little absurd and now we have a beta after live. I’m not really sure what the point of a beta coming out so early and unfinished was if most of the content we critically needed to provide feedback on didn’t release until near the end, and I can tell it caused a lot of people to burn out due to how drawn out it was and it only being for one character with no additional content.

This beta in general has been really uncharacteristic of Klei, I don’t feel like feedback was taken almost at all and major changes were constantly made abruptly and at random. The fact that the current beta is so different after its official drop is extremely concerning, I think they wanted to keep working on it without outright extending it (can’t imagine why they’d be afraid to delay it, cough Wendy cough).

Just the fact that I’ve seen four or five other topics pop up exactly like this one over the span of the entire beta kind of goes to show that the problem isn’t getting better either. It makes me extremely concerned for future updates.

I meant in the way the entire beta was handled, their communication has always been not great during betas

Believe it or not I’m trying to provide my own feedback without being needlessly rude or insulting, my unfiltered thoughts outside the forum are a lot harsher than they are here

I kinda feel the same way and im sure a lot of people also feel the same way. I'm just saying if Klei wasn't an indie team I feel like people would be a lot harsher but whatever. It feels like (even with the road map) Klei isn't being 100% transparent which I guess makes sense because of Elsewhere.

Part of the problem is that they had to go this fast even though their sole focus was one character. I’m sure a lot of people would be more lenient if it was 2-3 characters with additional content like before, but for so many things to release or change last second like they did for just one character really makes me question what happened in all that dedicated time for WX

Are you sure you even read my post? I’m talking specifically about the Shadow Affinity and the second beta phase. We entered another beta cycle after the live version was already released.

Wolfgang's rework and skill tree literally killed the character completely and replaced it with an entirely different far more boring one that has nothing in common with the previous. WX's skill tree is absolutely nothing compared to what happened with Wolfgang. They listened to a lot of feedback and made a lot of changes, and the skill tree is overall improving the character. They actually listened to nothing for Wolfgang, they ignored everyone and just ruined him for no reason.

It seems to me the klei has move large amount of their focus to develop new content for new games, and the rest isnt paid enough to care.
