(Either) steam vent tamers relying on diagonal swap pump with water or boiling water displacement for steam extraction are dead. Which is damn near all of the sophisticated ones, because valving the turbine water was just so darn convenient.

Single door crushers need a slight tweak and has to remain closed for several seconds to properly work now. Generally displacing gases with doors is nerfed, so a single door displacement pump maybe isn’t enough to keep up with a gas geyser

Anything relying on the high delta needed for insulated tiles to not exchange heat won’t work any more (e.g. geotuned magma contained by ceramic)

I believe the single horizontal door pumps are also broken.

I use them for start pumping into an infinite storage, the contents of a geyser, for later use.

I tried on sandbox, and after hours, the contents don't pump reliably anymore.

Interesting, it seems that the boiling happens before the liquid-gas bypass, so it straight up doesn't work with water if it boils.  I wonder if that was always the case but it's only being exposed now because the less than 1 gram of water transfers heat and boils instantly now rather than just swapping then vanishing...

Same thing happens if the liquid is too hot and instantly freezes.

The builds that rely on the liquid-gas bypass should still work with these small amounts of petroleum or some other liquid that remains liquid at the temperatures we are seeing.  I'm not sure if providing a 10 kg petroleum packet every 166 cycles is too unacceptable.

Before it was actually necessary to use <1g of water for those pumps for the same reason, so it makes sense it now breaks for 0.1g

On an inhabited planetoid it probably isn't, but the beauty of the old builds was being able to work indefinitely completely unattended. Either way the builds need to be revisited and modified to add the bottle drainer at least, and likely rework the plumbing.

I don't think it's that bad.  A glum molten slickster can generate 3.33 g/s petroleum, so if you have one of those and a little CO2 generation (easily automated, one wild arbor tree and a wood burner), you can still have your functional builds without dupe interaction.  To be precise, if you always have exactly 1 slickster, you can have 3,333 of these pumps working on the output of the molten slickster.  I'm pretty sure a glum molten slickster in a hot enough environment has a 100% chance of laying a molten slickster egg after 65 cycles, but if not, you can have a liquid reservoir pre-loaded with petroleum and two slicksters.  You would have to get super unlucky for it to fail. and could be warned long before it would actually happen,
