Unfortunately, as LordeMao pointed out, I've not found a way to disable them entirely after the world has been created, but there is this client mod to hide them: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2789486932 They will show blackened on the map for some reason, I've gotten used to it over time. The problem is the process is pretty tedious as it requires direct file editing and the effect is irreversible, but it will work. I used it in my world to remove the roads and haven’t had any side effects. For obvious reasons, make a backup if you plan to do this! Grabbing the snippet from @chaosmonkey about how to do it from a discord convo: Quote "Deleting roads from an existing world: I've only done it in the game files which is a bit sketchy if you don't have a proper text editor (like VSCode, vim, emacs, etc.) Before you do anything, please back up your cluster folder. Then when you're ready, the file you want to edit is in Cluster_XX/Master/save/session/xxx/000000n. You want the "newest" file which will be the one with the largest n. Well, anyway, disabling the option in world creation is always the best option. I always do it because I can create my own roads.
