I'm having a lot of fun with this skill tree! I think Klei has done really well with this one. Here's my choices (for now), once the gamma circuit and affinity is released i'll probably switch out the beta-tinkering and energy-efficient to those. Nice! I tried field survey/roto-mapper but i just kept forgetting about it so i respecced... it seems really good though, i'm just too forgetful for it :P The teleportation thing is very unique too, i just don't see myself using it that often because of the inventory thing. But i'm glad it exists :D

I expect this to be the "meta" relatively, few adjustments, once the Gamma and Affinity perks are available. Quite disappointing atm but maybe with enough balancing it will have more choice actually matter.

This is what I've been using for what is mostly just solo ruins and boss rushing. I'm very surprised to see so many people go for Right To Modify. I thought the durability loss from pulling every circuit out wouldn't outweigh the cost of a skill point

For the time being this is where I am at, with the change to the roto-mapers as well this helps me find certain parts of ocean content much easier which is great.

I still can't find a good reason to use the zaptrocuter though, If there is a good use for it I've yet to see it just yet outside of killing birds and cheesing stuff out of effective agro-range. 

Might swap out the beta's for the gammas and later dispose of the teleports or the roto's late game to make some room for other stuff, we'll see though.

I think these are the perks everybody's gonna pick (green is super popular yellow is normal popular)

Among more dedicated players the teleporting is probably going to have 80-95% pickrate but with how people on Klei servers play I feel like that is going to be more like 10-60% pickrate among the overall playerbase. I bet a really popular build you'll see a lot is something like this

Because it's really low committal, low engagement, low effort, and mostly just passive.

Red is what I plan to cut and blue is what I think I will want. The bottom left perks are cozy but then I get less bang for my buck. The storage drone works well with so well with Chester I turned him into Shadow Chester. The mapping drone works just fine on one chassis with lots of range boosters.

Yeah once the new stuff comes out, I would be surprised if the most common builds deviate from more than 2 points. But balance will determine the future. Super glad Klei is doing this slow beta for feedback because we all want the game to do well, even my grouchy butt :P 

Gonna go for this atm, ill change the fast charge at the bottom for the affinities and one of the upgrades circuits for the first level of the gamma circuits and pretty much thats it, maybe after mapping fully and if the rotomapper got no more uses ill take the 2 levels of circuits upgrades for them all!

Glad to see someone having fun with zap drones too! I'm digging them, pretty neat. Rushes the goat farming, deals with monkeys and trigger the snowball effect with clockworks on ruins. I know morning star is a thing but this makes it unicquely him and finding junk yard is easier than Oasis in most cases. Not counting on goat horns RNG is cool. The AoE can farm monkeys even tho is very hectic but worked for me.

So far, it seems the Chorusbox Circuit and Nightvision extra perks are related to Beta Tinkering I, from my testing last night. I didn't have time to test the rest, though
