Chesterxito Posted March 28 Share Posted March 28 I noticed that moving backup bodies without remote transfer skill takes eons (you have to position yourself in front of the backup, swap bodies and then repeat to move like 1/7 of a tile) and severly worsen warm standby if you didn't placed the backup body close to where you want. So I had the idea of being able to move them as a heavy item to be able of positioning them easily in case you don't want to unlock remote transfer. Hammering them was changed so it wouldn't give the materials back, so you would find yourself needing another red gem and gear, but you would also have to wait for it to reach full power again by inhabiting that body. With out the quicker rate of charge or some goat milk on hand, it could be unpleasant in the early game. It could have some interesting interactions with the new speed circuit perk of being able to carry heavy stuff with way less limitation. It would be way easier to just hammer them instead of make a boat and slowly carry it over to the boat and hop on to the boat and sink the boat. Like a thousand times easier. I completely forgor about them being hammerable, so yeah sure let other players carry them. If they boat it away you will then have to search the world and destroy it yourself before you can make another. It might be better if they did the other thing people have mentioned and made it to where WX has to transport them with the bots. Or have the owners have the ability to deconstruct them with a button or make them portable like a catapult and not have them hammer-able at all. Spoiler not a single day goes by that I cannot play without a griefer showing up on any server I play on.
