Dreamnotez Posted March 23 Share Posted March 23 I've been playing with Wendy and Abigail since I started to play Don't Starve Together and I'm SO disappointed that Abigail isn't a true partner in the game anymore like she use to be. WE would go out hunting and she'd actively kill butterflies for health, spiders for silk and destroy spider dens for silk without me having to MICROMANAGE her in the way I have to do now. She use to have autonomy which sometimes was inconvenient (like killing bees or provoking pigs).. but that was reasonably manageable by unriling her up. The whole point of riling her up is to attack things without me having to point everything out. I don't even get what she does now when riled up... Like, it's only live in the beta, and the beta is just about WX, so I figured everyone in the beta would be playing WX. It's different from other skill tree updates that also had extra generic stuff on them, so you could test those with any character... This one is really WX only, so... Well, I'm surprised there are more characters than just WX in beta worlds, that's all. Anyways, thanks for actually using other characters in this beta. I asked if my girlfriend wanted to play Don't Starve so I could try out WX skill tree in a multiplayer environment, and she only likes to play Wendy, Wurt, and Winona. I bet other people had a similar experience. Definitely lucky because that could have slipped through the cracks. It's quite simple me and my friend started a challenge run he played wendy i played wx he wanted to get some food early from Pengulls riled up Abigail and nothing she just refused to do our work.
