Okay so I need to clarify first that I do not own a PC and I can not play in betas. But I want to suggest something with the entire concept of “Back-Up Body’s” If it already works this way then please forgive my lack of Knowledge.

To me “Back-Up Body’s” should work Identically to a combination of Wortox’s Map controlled Soul Hop, AND Winona’s Wormhole Teleportation with Rose Tinted Glasses.

Meaning: That at any time during Gameplay, a WX78 player can pull up the pause Menu, select one of their placed back up body’s shown on the Map, and then without needing to die or anything, “Power-Down” their Current Body, (turning that into a backup in its current location) and then “Power-On” one of the other bodies, again.. identical to choosing a wormhole to teleport Winona through.

And your inventory will more or less be like swapping Back-Packs, whatever was in the Back-Up when powered down, remains with the Back-Up.

But something this OP should be limited to like 3 or 4 per player.. ♥️

Myself personally? I’d use this to my advantage to set up “Weather prepared” WX78’s having one to switch to in Winter, Summer, and Boss prep.

That's not immediately how it works, but one of the skills in the skill tree enables it to work that way. Normally if you don't have the remote transfer skill, you have to walk up to a spare body to transfer (which, as an aside, is the default usage of the spare bodies. Dying to resurrect into another one is an alternative, extra perk you can invest skill points into). An additional skill you can buy then enables you to open the map screen and just pick any spare body in that shard to transfer into.

It's also already limited on the number of spare bodies you can have, which is counted per shard. I think you get 4 max (per shard) if you buy all the skills that raise your limit?

And just to be thorough, the inventory also stays with the body. That includes the plugged-in circuits, meaning that swapping bodies can also be a kind of way to change circuit loadouts without wearing down durability.

The new alpha-beta-gamma circuit mechanics are cool.

I am wondering if it would make sense to give WX-78 a fair set back for using more than 6 pins (1 set worth) of circuits at a time?

My suggestion is to have a doubled hunger drain at 2 full sets (12 pins) and quadruppled hunger drain for having all 3 at once (18 pins). That way having so much cool effects comes at a price that is real, but manageble.

So the 6 base pins are in the grace period of no penalties, but all pins used after are adding to the milestones. (For example, if 6 pins fit in one set, having 9 pins used could make the hunger drain x1.5; and with 15=2x6+3 makes it a x3 multiplier)

They are cheap and you can use the transport drone to take your items to the arena so no, i think the extra bodies are more to make different sets of circuits bodies depending of your need, not to make a cheap teletrasport for the robot,

wortox .and wanda have even cheaper teleports but they are not limited. wx still has to make the bodies and go the place himself before can make his network of transportation before her can use it himself

ussualy bases in late game are soo big  you need multiple teleport points just to get there besides boss arenas and pearl island, wotox can spam them with no real drawback outside of farming souls and wanda can do it  multiple times, wx still has to go there and place it before he can get use out of it

Should've been alpha, beta, omega circuits... 😔

I am so sorry if you get this reference, but I also am not.
