Hi everyone, I’ll be sharing all my findings about the WX-78 skill tree in this post. My previous version was a bit lacking, so I’ve decided to edit and update it here. Anyway, let’s get into it!

Could you please post the skills?  Or someone?  I'm on Geforce Now so I can't try the beta.  I think one time someone just pulled the info from the files.  Even just the highlights would be great, I'm so curious!  Thank you and I hope you have a great every day!

You can make a map revealer and a storage unit that you can send to autonomously travel to specific positions, you can drone strike, there's some normal stat ups, and a bunch more that I haven't looked at yet since I basically just got on it.

Thank you so much!!  What do the Drones do?  Or are those the Drones?

Circuits are separated into "alpha" and "beta" types. With alpha being stuff that increases your health hunger and sanity, and beta being... everything that isn't that. Alphas and betas now have their own separate bars that function off of the one charge bar. This means you no longer have to choose between raw stats and utility. You can have both. I don't think that's part of any particular skill, just a rework of the character itself, but it's appreciated nonetheless

The Rangebooster Circuit essentially functions as a horizon expandinator

Additionally in the skill tree it mentions that there are Gamma circuits, but I think none of the current ones are classified as that, so perhaps that is part of the other half of the beta?

It appears that the Spatializer Circuit gives you a (currently very buggy) extra slot that works like an Elastispaced chest

edit: I say extra slot-- it acts like a Bearger Bin or similar storage but with only one slot, but with infinite storage of those items

my guess is gamma is either new circuits yet to be revealed, or is related to the affinities. probably some shadow and lunar circuits that would go in that slot when they come out.

hear me out let the talent upgrade to it automatically suck in whatever resource or item you put in it. let me minmax poop and twig cleaning

Now we just need someone to compile what circuits get upgraded and how. So far I have seen damage redution on heal. An overshield with shieldgating on bean booster, a charge on the electric ones and a cone for the lights. The heating one gives you a heat aura

The upgraded music box circuit gives you a permanent one-man-band effect. Walking near a pig village gives you an army with a constantly refreshing loyalty.

Honestly with how useless the circuit is without this effect, I hope it stays lol

Not sure if this is already posted elsewhere but pretty sure these translate to this from quick testing (getting hit by hounds, standing around under deerclops, running into dragonfly lava, etc):

Alpha1 upgrade:

  • hardy: adds 2.5% damage reduction
  • super hardy: adds 10% damage reduction
  • gastrogain: reduces hunger rate by 5%
  • super gastrogain: reduces hunger rate by 30% (instead of normal 20%)
  • processing: reduces sanity auras by 20%
  • super processing: reduces sanity auras by 50%
  • beanbooster: double hp regen per tick, double tick rate
  • upgraded range of new drones

Alpha2 upgrade:

  • hardy: adds 5% damage reduction
  • super hardy: adds 20% damage reduction
  • gastrogain: reduces hunger rate by 10%
  • super gastrogain: reduces hunger rate by 50% (instead of normal 20%)
  • processing: multiplies sanity gain rate from dapperness by 20%
  • super processing: multiplies sanity gain rate from dapperness by 50%
  • beanbooster: .5 hp/sec shield generation up to 20% hp

beta1 upgrade:

  • chorusbox: one man band effect
  • thermal: 50% resistance to burning, immune with 2x
  • refrigerant: 50% resistance to freezing, immune with 2x

beta2 upgrade:

  • big shock that charges up to 100/module overtime

Can WX 78 get another gear slot for transformation just like transformers in skill tree? 🫣

Transform

to escape from hostile situations

or wx can have its own projectile attack[mini cannon]

or maybe transform in amphibian mode so as easy to sail in water.

Lunar affinity-> can create lunar robot who can over charge wx-> all gear get 5-10% extra plus wx charge remain full during full moon night

shadow affinity-> can create dark robot who can fight mobs by doing strong single attack, aoe damage for swarm attack
