Never.

Just stop eating the crumbs that Klei is throwing our way looking for a new meta when the old meta just never changed.

Stick to Banana Shakes and whatever dish you use for healing or hunger and that's it.

As for night berries it makes more sense that these would inherit the properties of regular berries.

Allow them to be used as bait for the sea fishing rod and thus it's gear that can be put into the tackle/spectackler box.

I know the cooking is great. I just want my jar to have more contents. to be able to hold the dishes but not the ingredients, This setting itself is very boring😅

This cannot be said to eliminate the negative impact. It was a long time before we got the Polar Bearger Bin, which was a convenience we should have enjoyed! And when you get it, there is no shortage of food sources. So why must we view this issue with the mindset of the early stage of the game?😅

I kinda agree with dried foods, but ingredients? Like all food now? No thanks.

Why not? Isn't it quite normal for a jar that can hold food for low-temperature preservation to be able to hold ingredients? What's so strange about that?

I personally don't like this idea since the bin was meant for crock pot dishes only, Nightberry and Dried foods are ingredients. Regardless what I think, if you don't like something about the game you can always make a private mod for yourself.

So, in terms of rationality, there is nothing wrong with my point of view

It would make the game more bland, if that is what you are going for.

Why are we bringing real life logic into a game mechanic? It doesn't matter if it's "strange" or not if it exists to add more depth to the game? Ofcourse it's not some crazy revolutionary mechanic but it IS still depth.

You can also just use a bundling wrap too!

Without further ado, when will we be able to see night berries and dried fish in the Polar Bearger Bin? 😡

So there’s an item called the icker preserve kit. I think you’d like it.

First of all, I didn't get bogged down in reality and virtuality. Instead, I simply considered it from the perspective of game logic, which is reasonable. According to your idea, for Winona's G.E.M.erator, would inserting the Enlightenment Shard also make the game dull just because we lost the fun of inserting gems?

Secondly, games cannot be completely divorced from reality. As an artistic product, it should be based on reality but above reality, with more reasonable ideas rather than being more stubborn than in reality.

Finally, of course, I can use Bundling Wrap or Icker Preserve, but this doesn't go against my idea of using Polar Bearger Bin to store the ingredients. After all, I even got them at different times, and their functionalities are also not exactly the same, so there's nothing to compare. That's it.

If you could put any food item you wanted to in the game inside the Bearger bin no one would make crockpot dishes as much as they can just put like cooked potato’s and then ice boxes and salt boxes would become obsolete

So, is klei's purpose in making this Polar Bearger Bin to force players to cook? If the effect of the cooking is really much better than the ingredients themselves, then why force it? Players themselves will tend to cook rather than eat the ingredients directly.

As for the Ice Box and salt box being phased out, this is a very normal thing. Just like spears, would you still equip them every day when you have the bright Brightshade Sword? Moreover, there is a significant difference in their cost and acquisition period. You can rest assured about this. We won't encounter a situation where everyone uses Polar Bearger Bin at the beginning and completely ignores the Ice Box and salt box. That's a matter in the later stage of the process.

haha, that'd ruin the point of icker preserves which are exactly the same thing that you're talking about, just a little more work
i guess this would prevent you from slamming down a 40 stack of potatoes whenever you want but this is hardly different from slamming down a 40 stack of figatoni whenever you want

I'm a bit confused. I didn't call for the "Polar Bearger Bin" to keep things fresh permanently, so I don't quite understand how it could "ruin the point of icker preserves ". But well, it doesn't matter. After the previous quarrel, the only thing I understand is that no matter whether an idea is reasonable or logical, and whether its purpose is to increase challenge or improve the quality of life, there will always be people who are dissatisfied for various reasons. Excellent game suggestions can only be understood by those who have the same deep understanding of games. Wasting time repeatedly explaining to everyone will only increase unnecessary quarrels, because I have already explained everything that needs to be explained. I will stop replying and paying attention to opinions on this idea. Let it be as it pleases. This way, everyone can be more relaxed.
