Bug Fixes

• Fixed the main menu having broken textures.
• Fixed the Shellacked Tackle Receptacle showing the original item's texture in the Belongings.
• Fixed a crash when hammering Jubilantern Posts.
• Fixed Wooden Stool going invisible when using the Clean Sweeper.
• Fixed a crash with the Winter Surprise.
• Fixed Salty Dog not shaking loose Salt Crystals while on a boat.

Main menu animation still have a bug. Bush at the bottom of menu is blinking.

1. is wigfrid still cant drink tea and have a single quote for all of tea?
2. is buzzard still eating boss loots? i need more info for this, like how long do i need to kill them before they ate all the loot.

so something seems weird, cant trade with pearl in a new world by putting something onto the drying rack as if its not a real task?

I heard kelp doesn't work anymore. 

They changed it so that she doesn't also eat dried tea leaves.

The fix was mentioned here. As Dingle said, at first klei only made it so that Pearl could only eat meat on racks nearby, and kelp task was still viable at that point. And then I guess they decided to make it consistent when checking the bug report

I don't like it either, but it is what is it now...

thats sad, because i realy dont think that it was a bug at all...so guess pearl got ever so more annoying

Even though I've defeated the Crab King and the Celestial Champion and moved Pearl to the mainland already, I can't craft the combriner at her. :c

You must give Pearl the cracked Pearl from defeating Crab King with Pearl's Pearl, this is the only way she will allow crafting of the combriner.

That's... a choice. Why bother putting the kelp stalks on Pearl's shores if you're not meant to use them with her drying racks so she can eat them?

kelp stalks are for planting not drying. you put them along the shore to generate new kelp

if you pick up a kelp stalk you get it and an eatable kelp, and theres allways enought for all the drying racks to get filled with kelp

Yeah, but when you pick them, you get kelp. There's enough to fill her drying racks on her island. That seems like intentional game design, and honestly pretty good game design? It'll show players, "hey, you can do stuff for Pearl to make her like you" in a way that's easy to stumble upon if you know dried kelp is a thing, and you also get the reward of those kelp stalks to take back home (to add to all the ones you got from lunar, which is where you'd normally go for them). 

But apparently we don't do that here anymore, and instead they're actually going and removing bits of good game design for seemingly no reason.

seems you missed the reason they told u, it to make pearl only eat meat item and not plant item when drying stuff for her tea.

people dont go venture to salt biome before visit granny and do the quest ? cus i always swimming in monster meat when farming cookie shell for her house

-shrugs- you said "stalks" i am responding to that. the issue of kelp itself is something different and not really anything i have an opinion on, you know?

sometimes when im in pubs and just trying to get my pinchin winch I don't really pass by salt biome on purpose

it is still valid though. people were saying that her eating non-meats was wrecking up their ability to dry stuff(which it was) and that it somewhat invalidated using her racks over their owns(which was not entirely incorrect since there was a much higher risk) and some people were not happy about locking pearl behind a fence to keep her from eating(it is her racks afterall)

Completing her drying rack task was never about her eating the things you dried for her. Just the fact of putting the items on the racks was the thing that counted for the task. You could always take whatever you dried there for yourself or even get the pearl before stuff dried. 

Did they change it so putting kelp on her drying rack doesn't count for completing the task anymore? Or is it just the visuals of her eating it that are gone?
