With the addition of dried ingredients, it is becoming increasingly apparent that succulents have similar functions to plants such as petals and fern leaves (used for decoration or tea). Producing only 18 per year after summer rain is really too little, it should grow even more.
My idea is that they can grow in groups throughout the Oasis desert, similar to the way Lune Trees are generated. In reality, they are desert plants like cacti. Succulence still only grows in summer as a reward for facing sandstorms. I really enjoy the combination of seasons and biomes, and the desert is a perfect example of summer survival.

Reminder: I know Wicker can make succulents grow again, but they should never rely on any character for regeneration.

In my oasis, only one or two grow each year... I'm completely helpless about it. @V2C

However, the Lureplant can overcome this limitation in its growth. Occasionally, Lureplant still grow on the grass of my Oasis.

Succulence should not be limited to such a small range.

What if we could plant them using fireflies, but only next to the oasis? Is that a stupid idea?

This is too far fetched.

maybe a Cactus Growth Formula?
Bottle + Cactus + Ash =>  lesser fertilizer than the existing Growth Formula, BUT will generate succulent when used on prepped farm tiles in either desert

I think this is more suitable for cultivating giant succulents, if we can transplant them.

oooo now i really really want giant succulents!
especially if we can harvest from a giant succulent without destroying the whole plant, bc it'd regrow with enough warmth & watering, but if it dries out it become a tumbleweed with a few pieces of succulent in it?

The main roads are actually unobstructed; you can think of them as having paths four stone walls wide in all directions. The area incorporates many plants and buildings with no collision volume.

Actually… I really wish Klei would stop putting new turfs behind obscure tasks and instead, update the dang World Generation to support those turfs as actual new explorable biomes.

And when I say “New” I don’t necessarily mean that it has to have new content.

In this case: Why can’t Moon Quay Turf exist on a Desert Oasis Island somewhere out in the games otherwise boring and empty ocean which grew succulents more abundantly?

it would at the very least make those very empty islands with prehistoric fish bones on them look prettier (& perhaps give people more reasons to want to go boating :))

Moon Quay beach turf already exists on the island of Moon Quay? If more turf was added from special biomes, like the Moon Quay, it wouldn't make the Moon Quay feel as special anymore.
