Recently, developers added tea related to temperature, which reminded me of this issue again.
Have you ever noticed that eating dishes like ice cream, Meloncile, Banana Pop, etc. did not bring you significant cooling? In fact, these foods cannot truly lower your temperature, they can only temporarily lower the upper limit of the ambient temperature.
For example, in summer, when the ambient temperature is 100°, eating any "cooling" food will cause your highest perceived temperature to reach 60°. If it is below this temperature, there will be no change. Asparagazpacho is the same, but this dish can last for 5 minutes, while other cooling dishes only last for 10/15 seconds.
The most headache inducing thing is that the temperature controlled dishes will overlap with each other. If you eat Asparagazpacho and then eat Banana Pop, it will cause the original 5 minutes to become 10 seconds. Fish Cordon Bleu does not have such a problem because there is no second dish related to humidity.
In summary, I suggest that this type of dish can immediately change the temperature (± 40°,but without causing extreme temperatures), similar to water ball, and the duration of temperature control is determined by the longest dish.

I just hope they lasted longer, so eating these dishes would be a viable alternative cooling/ heating method. Even 2minutes would be enough.

Totally agree.  There is no reason to cook foods other than meatballs/meat stew/pierogis because they almost have no use. The cooking system needs to be buffed

To be fair, if you eat ice cream in winter... You kinda had it coming?

Not going after you for saying this, btw.

Yeah.....

Don't know why, but I always felt DST to be more and more.... tolerant and protective, towards the player's wrong choices/actions. The difficulty and danger must come only by external things, which are for the most part enemies/bosses. An example of "tolerant and protective" is this topic about foods, but even clothing! Wearing wrong clothing item in the wrong season will not bring you any damage or malus. Weird......

That's why Wormwood burning malus coming back was such a good breath of fresh air.
