9 7 2 2 ...
makes me think of the 6 4/ /3 note ...
6 4 3 3 ....

especially bc the bar over the 3 (in the maths i've learned) means to repeat what's under the bar .....

and the music theory i've retained (ngl i'm better at math!) has me thinking that the underlined 4 might mean:
- middle C aka 'C4' [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C_(musical_note)#Middle_C]
- when to change the octave, aka when to flip the switch on the upper right of the music door machine, after the "6 4" and before the "3 3"

didnt work for me :(

If we're sure we already have all of the clues we need to solve the music lock puzzle, then maybe we need to analyze the one piece of music that's available in the comic at the moment, which is the song that plays on the phonograph.

Things I've Tried:

Listening to it for 6 minutes and 43 seconds. Nothing changed, it just looped endlessly, unless I somehow missed something. The "6 4 3" note is right next to it, maybe it's referring to the phonograph song somehow.

Playing the song backwards in case there's some kind of secret message in it. If there was a message in there, I didn't understand it, just sounded worse in reverse.

Looking at the browser inspector thing on the page with the phonograph. I don't claim to understand what this inspector thing does at all, but I did see a list of what must be the audio assets for the puzzle, including a file labeled "page78panel0recordaudio" which is set to "loop," which I assume is the phonograph song, and more files labeled "page1panel17bell1," "page1panel17bell2" and so on, up to 24, which is not surprising at all, since that's how many tones the machine can play. I don't understand any clues that might be in this list. I see files for the cricket chirp, and three numbered files just called "audio" that must be the sounds when you open the bunker. There's also a sound file called "buttonpush" and "whistleaudio." Since I was able to see all of these at once no matter which page or panel I was on, this suggests to me that this is all of the audio available in the puzzle at the moment, meaning there isn't some other secret song hidden somewhere, so, if the clue we need is, indeed, an audio file, it has to be one of these.

But maybe this is entirely the wrong thing, and the clue is elsewhere and not audible at all.

Also, horizontal lines like the ones in the 6 4 3 note are called "tenuto" in musical notation. It means to play the note longer than notated. It's above or below the note depending on where the note is on the musical staff, since its tail/flag/stem thing goes up or down depending on its vertical position. The horizontal line itself has only one meaning.

So, maybe it's just to hint that the 4 is in the higher octave and 3 is in the lower octave. But then what of 6? And the duration?

6, 4, and 3 do not align with the three notes that are kind of the main motif of the phograph song .Those main three notes are a low B, then a higher G and F#. If we interpret the dial on the music machine as being like a rotary phone, then 6, 4, 3 would line up with F, D#, and D.

so... i don't know if it might help or not, but i guess we should look at it this way, wagstaff must have known the music, he uses it to open the door so he must be familiar with the code, we may have to search for things he knows not just anything we can find.

and one more thing, while i was searching for clues, i remembered the disc in the hallowed nights' comic, and when i listened to it, it had plenty of bells sounds, maybe there's something with it?

im a huge doubter for anything thats outside of the comics. everything so far has been contained within the comic, including the "parellel puzzle" (potions). cant stop people from trying other stuff but i do think its a huge waste of time imo

I know it may sound far-fetched, but in this music in the laboratory there is a specific sound, as if it were a choir. I counted all the appearances and there are 10 of them (13 if we count the combo that appears right before the last choir). This gives us 13 notes, so 6 + 4 + 3 = 13. It sounds crazy, but I think this is it.The problem is that I don't have the hearing to recognize the sound.

When you say "as if it were a choir" are you referring to one of the instruments in the music, or certain chords (combinations of simultaneous notes) being played, or something else? Are you able to point out the exact seconds when the things you're hearing play in this video?

like 0,24-0,25 sec

0,25=(1) 0,27=(1) 0,28=(1) 0,30-031=(2) 0,34=(1) 0,38=(1) 0,46=(1) 1,01=(1) 1,24=(1) and for that 3 that i am not sure is betwen this time 1,04-1,08=(3)

So, there really are two notes overlapping? Can we find out what the letter notations are?

i put the whistle through a spectrogram that gives letter note names, the higher set of notes are F# E C# C# and the lower set of notes are G# F# D# D#. i had no luck when inputting these into the puzzle unfortunately

One way I noticed that connects the music lock with both the roman numeral note and the 643 note is by imagining the lines above and below the roman numerals as that on sheet music, giving three notes of F, A and the E on the higher octave.

In one way of reading musical notes which I only faintly remember.. it assigns a number to each note, starting with 1 for C.

Here, it corresponds to 4, 6 and 3 respectively, as well as the positions of tenuto if the lines were those, but how it could be interpreted on the dial...

hmmmmm... that's true.

and also there's several points in the puzzle that i think may help us, there's some mechanisms that are essential for solving the puzzle, otherwise they wouldn't exist in first place, such as "you can put several notes in one slot" or the length of silver ring's bar...

i mean there should be some chord-like notes? like you HAVE to put some notes in same place, right?

(forgive me for my weak grammar, im not very good at English)
