Yes. And realistically, they will probably even make more money with a DLC every year or two than with doing ONI2. It will certainly be less stressful and less risky. I think they might have learned that with Don't Starve.

But if they keep releasing DLC's the will need to change some core programming and make the game multithreading. 

Away Team timeline is important for ONI future. I think Early Access is going to happen next February-March 2026. Full release maybe at the end of 2026.

That gives us small hope for one more DLC for ONI. But wouldn't expect it.

The game seems wont tolerate 10 DLCs working simultaneous or maybe, like i said, they already have the entire game cooked up and they only have to do is change artwork.

That does not really make any sense to me.
