Since we're at it, regular darts should probably both have a much larger stack, and get maybe 5 or more each time you craft instead of one. They’re expensive to make and a pain to carry, and by the time you’ve made a bunch, you’ve probably already picked up a Gloomerang or a Brightshade Staff.

With the changes suggested above, darts would still be costly and impractical for everyday use, but they might actually be worth investing in under the right circumstances.

Personally, I love the Howlitzer because it's so goofy. Unfortunately, right now I need to bundle wrap 4 x 40 teeth to carry a decent amount of ammo. I agree with a QoL update to stack an infinite amount of ammo. Could work like Walter's Scrappier Slingshot Frame, that upgrades the frame with an Elastispacer too.

I don't know what is cooking in Klei's intention, but they really need to look into the stuff DST already has and improve it instead of adding a bunch of uninteresting stuff.

 

To me, howlitzer needs some kind of pouch just like Wortox's soul jar and the ability to craft more ammo with hounds (like, an ammo that you can craft 4 of them with a single hound tooth).

 

The ice crystaleyezer is another example, it has almost no functionality and it is really bothersome to use because you can die due to the cold

I'd love a hold open slot for pouches because while specialized pouches decently alleviate the inventory bloat the games had, but having to stop moving to pull stuff outs painful because of the funny pouch open animation.

A hold open slot plus a hotkey for quick accessing 1-6 slots on the pouches would be a godsend for the QOL of pouches.

The extra storage functionality is excellent, but the inputs for using it aren't fun.
