Above average trees should block out meteors

its not a good solution to remove all meteors everywhere, but its a solution to help against it going over biome deviding rivers which is what sucks about it most of the time

It can survive literally infinite lightning strikes. No reason the boulders couldn't get caught in the canopy and then fall down in smaller chunks.

the meteors barely hurt the survivors, i think it blocking some rocks isnt too much a task

If a small axe could chop it, a boulder from the sky should be able to destroy it as well. Heck, with the changes to shock states, lightning strikes should burn it after some hits.

uh... for building? meteors have been the bane of builders forever now and the 'just turn it off' thing is really annoying

Normally I hate the "just turn it off" argument, but that's pretty much what I do after a couple thousand days in. It's not like you miss out on anything by not having meteors around.

klei gives out answers to evevrything nowadays like pillars preventing cave bases from being destroyed, its really not a hard thing to code in either
