What characters would fight each boss in a "canon" setting?

This is my take, tho omitting some

-Wurt is there because I think that other survivors would see her as a way to to automatize that fight easy and fast
-Wendy and Webber would take care of Bee Queen because they are friends and would overwhelm Bee Queen's minions with their own.
-Wolfgang would do all the damage during the Toadstool fight while Wes takes care of the mushrooms.
-Wickerbottom would slow down the ancient guardian while Winona's catapult don't leave him room to even breathe.
-Maxwell and Wanda are the least affected by the shadows, so yeah.
-Wortox would heal Woodie as he deals with the one that spawns minions while he deals with the one that moves a lot, dodging teleporting around.
-Wigfrid solos nightmare werepig because once she frees him she can easily gain her sanity back through combat, and is a fight better done 1v1.
-WX circuits would make Klaus' spells not much of a problem while Willow summons a heat source for herself while resisting the fire spell.
-Wilson would manage the boat while Walter attacks the towers from the distance until Wilson can attack the king and Walter covers him from the "small" crabs.

Not really the best in-game way, but I think it would make sense outside it, except for Winona I guess. It's hard to balance being able to build catapults everywhere.

I was picturing Wigfrid to solo the dragonfly.

Wickerbottom and Walter to take on the Beequeen.

Toadstool to be ignored(no one kills it).

Maxwell solos the shadow pieces to progress the fuelweaver line.

Wanda and Wendy taking the AFW.

Twins of terror ignored (maybe wortox tries to summon them to troll).

Nightmare Werepig by Wurt as shes the only character that is just angry to the Werepig.

Scrapy Werepig to be ignored(the survivors still steal trash from him tho Webber and Wormwood possibly).

Wilson, Willow and Webber to take on Klaus.

Wilson Somehow solos the Ancient guardian as he is very experienced exploring the caves(no one believes him).

Wigfrid and Warly Crab King.

Winona, Wickerbottom and Wanda to take on celestial champion (Wilson stills helps with the materials and storm events with wagstaff).

Wx, Wormwood and Winona To fight the celestial Scion.

and Wurt to solo the mutated bosses with her merm army.

+1 for Wurt vs Werepig  

 Funny to see Winona matched with AG, as that is probably one of the worst fights for catapults.  If we’re talking about in a world building sense, I go with Winona vs Crab King, as it gives the vibe of sieging a castle.

This explains how they defeated 30 giants without armor and low weapon... And not even always all together...

Although... There are silly things in the trailers when Woodie kills a Tree Guardian with one hit or Wortox a Deerclops.
The size of the giants is not static all the time, even in trailers ...
Few people will believe that Klaus is weaker than almost all the giants due to the fact that he is a mini giant.
And only his evil version can compete with other giants.
