Fencing the cave monkeys in might actually be one of the most practical uses of this so far, I assume that both beequeen and tallbird uses might seem a little "cheesy" and they will surely do something like a stacking  shock resistance or maybe a longer cooldown on getting shocked again if in combat so that you can't just hold F but can still use it instead of regular walls

I'm crossing my fingers that they don't add shock resistance to some of these mobs. Even if it is a little cheesy, it's fun coming up with ways electricity can be used against these guys.

I would rather let the mobs be shocked like it's in the current state but make the blueprint be a scion drop. It's op the way it is right now but if it's behind a good challenge the reward worths completely

Good uses in your video ^^

I mean it's not like you can get it day 1, killing scrappy werepig still takes some time but it kinda defeats the purpose of walls and pushes them into purely decorative category, aside from hoarding mobs into a confined space, there is no reason to use regular walls (unless they work funny while unloading and let mobs escape). If I were to vote I would say that scion dropping it is a good idea since it trivializes some bossfights so it's a reward for completing the game, I'm not a boss rushing fan though so I don't know what the other side thinks.

From my testing, the walls are only really effective in the BQ fight, with the others either not being affected by the shock or destroying them with their attacks. They work better for dealing with mobs that swarm you or single mobs like Tallbirds or Mactusk. While they can stun lock certain creatures, I wouldn’t call it broken as you need to kill 2 raid bosses (Scrappy doesn’t drop the blueprint but you probably want to farm extra scrap), while they can keep mobs like hounds out your base, they’ll stick around until you kill them yourself, as the shock deals no damage, and depending on the player, there might be other methods that are much more appealing to them. It’s a reward that’s not too easy to obtain, and at this stage of the game, I don’t think we should worry about items trivializing the game when skill trees do that for free.

I get that rushing ain't for everyone but even in a slow pace with multiple people is viable to have Scion done in the start of third year if you focus lunar arc first. That means the first 200 days without it. Prolly people would have other priorities but I feel like (and would agree with you in) it's missing opportunities with milk eh.

That isn't a slow pace.

Scion is way too late and scrap while easy to farm has many uses, I think that it is fine the way it is. After killing Scion there's probably not much that has not been done so why would anyone care If they get it that late?

Its not that rushing isn't for everyone but that it isn't for most people. If it takes you 3 years to get to Scion you can only imagine how long it takes for general population of players. I haven't really started a new world since Scion was released so I don't really know how long it would take me even If I tried to rush it but the point is that I still wouldn't make it a priority because it wouldn't be fun to me to do everything in shortest period of time. Players like me prefer to slow down and while some would argue that I do rush things like ruins and werepig first autumn because I play Wanda, I still don't want to kill everything as fast as possible.

Also, making Scion your goal would make the game too linear and boring, this is a problem that has appeared with rifts but it gets much worse with Scion because of how long it would take.

You can do CC in one year if you eficient and  in half a year if you a pro. Two years is good measure but I'm not up for debating this, if you think it's not than it's not, ur perspective is as valid.

For the tallbird one, could you use it to farm tallbird nests since the tallbird cant kill the baby?

You mean it's egg? I'm not sure about that one. I didn't test whether or not it would lay another egg and would probably guess they wouldn't since they're constantly being shocked. Though, I haven't tested it out to know for sure so maybe I might be wrong.
