Just because, like with literally every boss, you are able to beat her with nothing except a pile of armor and a pile of healing doesn't mean she's a bad fight. Dude, please, play other games besides DST, and you'll see how bad this fight is 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/166977-we-need-to-address-the-concept-of-cheese/page/3/#findComment-1826884 Share on other sites

Yes, and that's the biggest difference between the "raid" bosses and these newer ones. The strategies to defeat the original raid bosses were something players had to come up with themselves. Ever since the Ancient Guardian's rework (which I consider a necessary evil), DST boss designs have been more about telling the player what to do rather than leaving it up to them to find a solution. And I can't really stand for doing that because it ruins the entire aspect of exploration and experimentation that the game provides because there is never been one true way to fight stuff there's always been multiple ways to do it yet for some reason certain ways are seen as bad and it really shouldn't. In my mind using minions to defeat bosses is just a logical extension of things new players do like basing near Beefalo to beat Hounds. Playing the mobs off of each other is encouraged! 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/166977-we-need-to-address-the-concept-of-cheese/page/3/#findComment-1826940 Share on other sites
liolok
IMO, the concept of cheese is that, someone else defeat the boss and suffered less than you. 2 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/166977-we-need-to-address-the-concept-of-cheese/page/3/#findComment-1827054 Share on other sites

If the cereal is rice crispies, it’s a curry.
