He runs at 8 speed after walking around for some seconds (a rider beef with a glossamer saddle runs at 12 speed) Does anyone know any other tricks you get by being wonkey that I might be missing? I wanna play a wonkey only playthrough and I wanted to start with the best character. Even if you want to still set up a distractor/drowner to make the most out of the unnatural portal. Get some basic weapons and armor, goose your way around the ocean until you find the Moon Quay island and slay monkeys until you're cursed. Bring enough wood for a Think Tank, a boat kit, an oar, and a science machine so you can leave the island safely too. shaurun Posted April 8, 2025 Share Posted April 8, 2025 Many people don't know, but actually Wonkey has a special secret behind it's character name. It's not just Monkey -> Wonkey, but the one who 'Won Key'. Underneath the monkey island, if you'll destroy all the docs, there's a pirate treasure, and unlike any treasure, only Wonkey can open it. If you open it without hammer, you'll find a key and you can travel to a secret moon world via portal. This is not a survival world, you just run through it and many moon crystalls start to accumulate on your body when you run, transforming Wonkey into body armor. I'd suggest to aquire this armor since it's Wonkey only piece.
