On the topic of crockpot foods IRL, this YouTuber, Polarlotus, has a good chunk of videos about making DST Crockpot foods IRL. They're really neat. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTCQcNRF8dV-tfMtmwIzTz8etk22lqexh&si=GiTo-DaApzgy30aW

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing.

I've made and eaten Scotch eggs before they were added to DST as Tall Scotch Eggs, but I'm not gonna lie, seeing them in-game makes me want to make them again. It always seems a little funny to me that you're specifically not allowed to put meat in the recipe in DST when sausage is a key ingredient for the real version, though.

i wrote "no despite" even though that is inaccurate. in truth i have made and eaten quite a lot of these dishes without dst's prompting.... that being said i started eating pierogies more often because of dst and it has given me a great opertunity to introduce more people to mee and the band x''D

Spoiler

I love Ambrosia, it's very sweet and has some nice caramel tasty solid milk bits. It also pairs very great with coconut or passion fruit mousse as well.

Fig stuffed pasta sounds extremely disgusting.

All sushi recipes are of course going to be delicious, Japanese is the best cuisine there is.

Spanish barnacle linguini is an actual recipe, but made with clams. They're insanely delicious.

Feijoada is unironically insane. The amount of flavor on one bite of that stew will send you flying.

Moqueca is another African/Brazilian dish that's very hard to replicate since it uses Dendê Oil which is very different and fragrant. The stew is made from all seafood shells and heads and some aromatics like cilantro, tumeric and cumin. It has shrimps, fatty fish and squid all boiled in this stew. It also has garlic, onions, tomatoes, parsley and coconut milk to finish.

Another insanely underrated one also is called Vatapá, it's not in the game, but It's legit fought over in my house over the rest every single time I make it.

Stuffed peppers is also super delicious.

I guess almost every has tried turkey dinner at least once in their life as well.

I hope everyone's interpreting the question the way you are. That's what I was trying to ask, if you've tried new food explicitly because of Don't Starve.

I have "stuffed fish heads" everytime I make food with the emergency food ingredience from my emergency food end-of-the-month storage x(

Simply because my disappointed reaction to my emergency food is mostly the same as Maxwell's quote:

Alternatively you could also compare all my usual end-of-the-month-food to wet goop.

The most expensive meal I've ever had was this surf n turf that I ordered, admittedly due to how good the sprite looks in game. The dish really lived up to my expectations.IMG_9679.jpg.aeb28cd08d029d11db8a5c1f7b05cbdd.jpg

I've been looking up recipes because I really want to try moqueca. I also live in an American city that historically had a lot of polish immigrants so pierogis became something of a local staple. We even have pierogi mascots that race around the baseball field at the home games:jid90kjxu6chlsmmrdxi.jpg.04f45220f42f0244834d4090f52f0a6d.jpg

I didn't know Feijoada and Moqueca existed in Don't Starve. That's new knowledge to me.

Anyways, those 2 aside, I've eaten Meatballs too, so... I ate 3 of the meals from DST IRL... None because I saw the dish in DST, but hey, I did eat them~
