hmmmmyeas, i do hope its actual new unique, wortox only, lines from the shadow weapons

AAAAND.....it appears its just the same lines as before but every instance of the word "mortal" got replaced with imp so it seems...meanwhile woodie that actualy has unique shadow weapon lines.......i cant belive i got disapointed from it still

But each boss has its own attack rhythm. Meanwhile gestalt abigail's rhythm is fixed. So though Abigail maybe can beat gragonfly, when she face other boss, her attack pattern doesn't help her elude well. Therefore Abigail is still difficult to be protected by player. That's why so many people, espacially the wendy users, are not satisfied.

the bag being on the layer on top (going into his face) when you walk to the right is weird

also its so few frames of animations, weirdly choppy especially when you compare it to even just walking animations  the decision to have no smear frames is.... interesting?

......no....alsol you made me realize how....not so good the moving part of the knapsack even was, so if anything, we both had highter expectations

i just expected klei to never mess up animating, especially not with just making it spasm left to right violently with no smear frames and few keyframes making it look extremely choppy. and also its just a joke at the end lol

First of all I REALLY appreciate the work put on Knabsack because the animations made it much better
but I believe the biggest issue with knabsack is it's design when full, that is the least appealing visually and this poll shows it
I think slightly bigger version of second form would be perfect, so it looks like knabsack from the main menu without the lumpiness

Also it farts a little with souls when Covetous Collector is maxed out kinda like the VFX idea I made back then! O.o

By the way, I found that the damage from lunar planar damage potion is not reduced as 66%, this is an interesting synergistic effect, hopefully it is not a bug!

First of all, thank you so much for the fix. It feels much more in character now that the Shadow Maul and Shadow Reaper no longer refer to Wortox as a mortal.

At the same time, I believe the reason why Wortox was designed to have the Shadow Reaper as his specialized weapon is to align with his "soul harvester" theme that stems from his monster side. It would be a great idea to have some special interactions and quotes between him and the Shadow Reaper, for example, having the shadow reaper tempt him to harvest more souls and succumb to his darker side would be really cool.

 

I have come across a previous post giving suggestions on these special quotes, and imo this guy is on the right track.

I agree I mainly use it to reposition Abigail not so much for damage.

In most bossfights and single enemy scenarios this cooldown is just too long and too inflexible.

The increase cooldown for attack at makes it so is not as great for repositioning Abigail, so it is not less useful for fighting against bosses, and it makes the player having to rely on either the Escape command or Abigail's AI. Though I'm mostly happy her repertoire of things she can do has been expanded a bit and is not just a 1 trick pony.

Adding 'Wolfgang' to cover up the bait and make it seem tasty, but at least I'm not gonna fall for it, nuh uh

perhaps the solution should b to lower all the cooldowns, and gestalt abigail gets an extended cooldown if the attack at hits an enemy
