Changes

  • Adjusted some visuals for the Knabsack.
  • When using the “Attack At” Command with Gestalt Abigail, she will now strike a series of targets until she reaches the selected destination. Her damage starts at 66% of her original damage and diminishes by 33% each hit. This command also has a longer cooldown.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed some sounds for Wendy’s command wheel.
  • Fixed the string for Wortox's Soul Decoy II skill.
  • Fixed Impromptu Flautist getting stuck enabled with the skill deactivated in some circumstances.
  • Fixed Abigail failing to perform commands when her flower was placed in a backpack.
  • Fixed Bio Scanalyzer going invisible in the inventory when skinned.
  • Fixed Lucy skins not showing up during Woodie’s idle in the Item Collection page.
  • Fixed Shadow Reaper and Shadow Maul calling Wortox a mortal.
  • Fixed typo in Slingshot Handles’ scrapbook description.
  • Fixed Moon Storm’s minimap icon blocking placement.
  • Fixed Ankle Bangles foot skin not using skin tones.
  • Fixed Lune Trees and Palmcone Trees having more than one burn effect sometimes, making the burning sound louder.
  • Fixed Wortox's Soul Jar not giving back all of the marble when using a Deconstruction Staff on it.
  • Fixed Wortox's Soul Decoy having some visible hair parts when it should not.
  • Fixed Walter's Ancient skin set's hat using "The Archaic", it is now called "Peregrine Toque".
  • Fixed Wortox pulling out a Soul when Naughty inclined when not carrying any Soul at all.
  • Fixed Knabsack not updating damage numbers when stacks of Souls changed for Covetous Collector.
  • Fixed crash sometimes when dismounting from Woby.
  • Fixed some creatures not stopping when you try to trade or interact with them while playing on a client with prediction enabled.
  • Fixed Warly's Masquerader's skin beard flickering when talking.
  • Fixed Walter's Wicker Slingshot skin having a misaligned band when firing downwards.
  • Fixed Bio-Scanalyzer skins not having shadows when placed on the ground.
  • Fixed incorrect animation state for some clients when attacking while mounted with a torch or pillow equipped.
  • Fixed W.O.B.O.T. sometimes becoming unresponsive after going offscreen.
  • Fixed power load on Winona’s generators not updating properly when connected devices change between idle/sleep/charging modes.
  • W.I.N.bot will now properly disconnect from a circuit when reactivating itself, and will be moved back to its deploy point when deactivating itself off screen.

Thanks for the updates any chance for a Abigail speed boost so she can keep up with Wendy a bit better it could be tied to a skill like Blessed Sisturn 1 or 2.

Also an animation for mutating Abigail into a gestalt would be nice.

hmmmmyeas, i do hope its actual new unique, wortox only, lines from the shadow weapons

I've been testing this change and I think the 66% damage nerf is enough, I believe it shouldn't have a longer cooldown it doesn't feel great especially with the damage nerf.

Glad you asked. I just recorded a video of it in-game. Looks a lot better than before, makes the hits feel a lot more satisfying.

To be honest, this skill is not just for dealing damage; it's also a very convenient command for adjusting position during boss fights (especially against Celestial Champion and Ancient Guardian). Is it really a good idea to weaken its cooldown from 4 seconds to 10 seconds now?

bruh...with fisual fix i was thinkin of it actualy lookin like better design wise not that it now moves left and right

not sure how this would affect normal gameplay, I simulated different, yet normal amount of stuff and it worked great.

also, for those who might think this is TOO STRONG: even at night time, it gets weaker and weaker after each hit, like how a bullet penetrates multiple layers.
Considering night time damage: after 4 hits, it does about 32, then 21, 14, 9, 6, 4, 2 and lastly 1 damage or less after 11 hits. Averaging 40 damage.
And if you notice in the video, after some point it does 0 damage.
It still cannot overcome hoards of mobs easily like normal Abigail and it fits the Gestalt Abigail, where instead of all the AoE damage, it does them in diminishing single hits. Plus it has longer cooldown.
and this odd pathing doesn't happen so easily. At night time this would've been able to kill only 2 spiders.

It's an irony. Abigail is weak when fighting with boss. For example, Armored bearger can kill Abigail in a few seconds because of AOE damage. Wanting to control Abigail? That's too hard as Abigail is controlled by computer most of the time.

For context, she was capable of soloing dragonfly without taking hits when the form was first added. All Wendy had to do was run around in circles on a beefalo, ordering Abi to hide on occasion.

Lubby was initially designed as a single-target specialist, where the "attack at" command served as a critical positioning tool for lubby during boss fights. The cooldown extension has now paradoxically incentivized shadow abby as my default boss-fighting choice – this contradictory outcome between design intent and balance adjustments feels deeply dissonant.

Hi, I'm not reading the other comments and I'm not affiliated with the other comments, here's my isolated opinion about the Gestalt Abigail charge change: The charge cooldown is wayy too long. Regular Abigail's command cooldown already feels too long. I feel like both of them should be shortened. Not by much for sure, but shave off a few please

(Super happy to have it back though all things considered)
