Idea for worst mod

To add to this, you could make tools get "worn down", so they become less effective the lower their durability is.

Great idea!

I thought I would add that sometimes tools and weapons break at a random moment

But with this the gameplay will be stretched and all the tools will become 2 times less effective!

Only if the player spends resources on new tools every time

If make the armor absorb less damage when using up durability, it will be perfectly annoying !

can accidentally create an infinite tool, like the more durability spend, the less effective it is and the less durability spend

This is actually what some people think difficulty is. There's Minecraft mods that are super similar to this like Better Than Wolves (which was created because someone was extremely pissed off that they added wolves to the game for some reason).

You need to do things like punch a single tree block to strip the bark off then punch it again, which takes over 30 seconds. You'll get a single stick which you can turn into a pointy stick. You beat some stone, twice, with the stick over the course of ages and ages to get a single loose stone which you can make into a sharp stone. Do that over and over again to get a lot of them, and do it to a bunch of iron ore you find too. Then you need to collect a ton of clay piles, then form the clay piles into clay, then form the clay into wet bricks, then lay them down out in the open and wait an entire day so they dry, then collect them, turn them into loose brick slabs, then into a brick oven, craft a fire plough with two sticks, fill your brick oven with wood, keep spamming the fire plough on the oven until it eventually lights, insert your chunks of iron into it one at a time cooking each one individually to get four iron nuggets (also you needed to combine the iron dust together to get chunks of iron), craft an iron chisel with those nuggets, chisel a tree stump with an iron chisel twice, and then you finally have a workbench and can have a 3x3 crafting grid instead of 2x2.

I could genuinely have diamond tools in the base game by the time I have a workbench in that mod and it isn't even because it's hard, everything is just so slow and tedious for no reason. There is not challenge to it. It's just boring.

I love the art! But this:

This is hilarious.

swollen-Walter is also hilarious. i actually like some of these changes (notably 'can't craft in the dark' and 'allergy Walter') i hope OP can get into game development someday and use their power for good (not 'energy used to work, that you can pay for')
