I've found my stride playing mildly combat boosted nice.
The hyper mobility and medical properties of almost full nice, with the weakest form of naughty's crowd killing (Decoy bombs) with a little bit of pan flute feels quite fun.
Not going affinity here because honestly can't be bothered with rift items here.

Naughty is really good, but I got tired of seeing a beefalo hit one spider and then my souls aggrod the whole herd, stuff like that. Yes your damage output is great with all of the area of effect stuff you can do but every npc on npc interaction turning into a coalition to kill you started to fatigue me.

I dont play Wortox that much but I like the nice side a lot, Wortox always had that "support" aspect, his basekit basically made him a healer in multiplayer, and I think the nice side improved that a lot. The naughty side has more "fun" stuff like the decoy and the soul damage, but I would say thats only good in solo, also it has some seeeeerious inventory issues

Not a fan of Nice, I understand the argument that Wortox is a team player, but he's already been a great healer for years, adding +10 healing to his kit isn't particularly interesting. It's overkill imo. The inclination is neat, and neutral towards 3 common creatures you could find, but it's the skills to obtain the inclination that are really holding it back for me.

Naughty has the jar, piercing, and Imp-losion. Which are new things that Wortox has not had in his kit before. I also enjoy the free soul overload immunity. 
Nice has the Twin Fail heart, which is a new power for Wortox I won't deny. However, I think it is way too expensive to be used for more than 1-2 people.(and absolutly useless if you're solo)

The middle nice branch is what really kills nice for me, the whole thing is so mediocre it would be funny if it wasn't so disappointing. You heal more, which isn't all that useful now that Wortox can hold 7x his original soul amount. So yes, you can get more healing from that 1 soul, but also you could heal just as easily be dropping 2 souls and be equally helpful at healing if you were naughty. 

I'm actually a little disappointed there's no reward for being balanced, seems that regardless if you like Naughty or Nice more, Neutral is almost a negative since you don't get the benefit of either inclination.

Forgot to mention, the right branch Nice skills are fine, 10/10, always take all of them

Naughty is better for solo, rushing, crowd control and combat in general.
Nice is better for playing as support on team games, not have the racism problem, and revive new players.

Nice has no ugly knabsack so that's a plus too. 

Naughty, probably even in teams. As long as you have a killer bee biome, you essentially have infinite souls, and thus infinite healing. Since there are loads of revival options, that aspect of the nice skill tree is also kind of useless.

Lifebringer III (the ability of giving other player teleport powers) is very nice however, so it might be worthwhile to got for a 7/7 split if playing in teams, though I don't know how problematic that might be with soul overloads.

I agree, better is entirely subjective. However, I think there's an argument to be made that naughty's skills are always relevant whether you're alone or with your team, compared to how heavily nice gets its utility removed as soon as you're alone.

Nice gets more healings, while naughty gets more…souls, which is more than more healings…

The inclination effect -> naughty is better (never overloading again basically)
Inclination soul stat tweaks -> nice is better (good sanity management)
Skills in each branch overall -> Naughty has more applicable skills. More healing out of each soul is kind of unremarkable compared to hoarding hundreds of souls at a time, even if your goal is to just heal. Heart skills are situational, and the team teleport is a lot less meaningful past antlion. That leaves the teleport branch which is admittedly an essential in every Wortox tree imo.
Pierce is very underwhelming but decoy + jar are good enough to make my opinion lean towards favoring that side in an """overall""" comparison.

 

I'd basically always be naughty in any world past one FW kill.
