Please increase the spawning chance of bottles (when world generated)

Recommended Posts

Considering Wortox and Wendy would need a bottle urgently in early game after this beta (for soul jar and lune blossoms on hermit island), please increase the spawning chance to the bottles which spawn by world generation. This won't do impact to daily bottle refreshment, which minimise the potential balance influence.

Having them closer to shore would be nice. If you're unlucky, they can all be out of view.

Having them not get taken up by spawning around lunar island would be even more nice. Quite awhile ago, I think Omega figuered out that RNG can just make most of your world's bottles spawn around lunar island.

The combination of these two can just make you get worlds where it seems there are no bottles.

I figure the devs know about this already, and won't change it. There's always the 5% chance a Marotter will drop a bottle lol.

why "urgently" lol?

speedrunners do not have the monopoly on this game.

OP is not a speedrunner, speedrunners have never influenced any balancing decision in the history of the game, stop scapegoating random people for nonexistent problems

When do they "need" it "urgently" when both characters have been perfectly playable for over 10 years without their upcoming skills?

If the skill was gatekeeped by rng of bottle, what meaning of those skills?

Especially the Wendy one which was criticized as "experienced player need no survivability improvement", then the sisturnIII is obviously designed for helping newcomers. If most of newcomers would gate keeped by the rng of bottle or rng of sea things, what the meaning of the sisturnIII here?

Not everyone knew how to find the lunar island according to two specific coastline or according to the shallow sea. (Yea I have to clarify this in case someone think I have the skill issue lol)

I also vote for bottles spawning "closer to shore". I've always had trouble with the Bottle RNG.

Also, both Bottles and Luna Blossom are items that are almost impossible to obtain unless you decide to sail, and considering that you can survive without sailing and how not happy sailing is in DST, players who don't know how to get them may not get Luna Blossom or Bottle until so much later.
