TeaY Posted January 24, 2025 Share Posted January 24, 2025 I really did not expect more than a month to wait for such an update, in two months, countless players in the forum put forward so many ideas and suggestions, many people seriously wrote so many things, the designer is completely completely did not care! Of all the suggestions, Wendy's so, so poor skill tree has not changed at all, or even worse? I'm really, really disappointed. I'm really disappointed. I don't know if the designers have tried the game, if they know what needs to be updated the most, if they understand why the players have such a big opinion right now, when most of the time they don't. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by megabase but if it's giving Wendy new superpowers then it won't happen. I think many players from the Chinese forum still don't know how skill trees work. They probably came here for the first time just for the Wendy skill tree and they think that skill trees will give the character awesome new features but no, skill trees are just updates to prepare for rift content but some characters who lack depth in gameplay can get some cool features. These cool features don't make them better than others but just make them equal to others. As it is now Wendy just needs a few tweaks and she will be ready to release I'm not saying people's good ideas shouldn't be added to the game, but they are too detailed features to add to the main game. The designers are still adding small changes that will not be exaggerated but will make Chinese players happy. Wendy has received many changes that no other Survivor has received. If the designers really understood the characters and made them surprising and enjoyable skill trees, we wouldn't have as much of an opinion. You're playerbase doesn't have this "intense" level of discussion about other Skilltrees because your playerbase is predominantly composed of Wendy players. So the intensity was always gunna be there wether you're playerbase was mostly Warly, Wes or Wendy it wouldn't have mattered. I don't think the designers somehow lack "understanding" of a character in the game they directly contributed to creating. I had no intention of comparing or to be represented country.
