from what i remember klei takes a break for about a month starting mid december every year, that was always the month we didn't get an update before the update cycle got improved

If I had to take a guess they’ll release the update for the beta skill trees, the year of the Snake Event and announce the 2025 Roadmap all at the same time, but since Year Of events always fall into late January or Early February, I’d say it’ll be at least another Week before we hear anything.
