Because Wendy is weak at 0.75, shouldn't Abigail's strength be expected? Without Abigail, Wendy is just 0.75, and without Bernie or even the embers, Willow is still a 1.0 character.

Also to add on to this without a player tag armor is only ever going to make spiders able to take 2 to 4 hits before the helmet breaks so just a heads up for if you do that run with spiders wearing armor.

I personally prefer to use Cookie Cutter Cap as a sweetie bonus for spiders. because all cutter shell are useless and massive in end game (if you enjoying the sailing and fishing in endgame.)

Celestial champion but there are more also using cookie cutters would be far more time consuming than using pigskin and regardless they would break in only a few hits bringing you back to square 1. The only armor that I've experienced that suitably let's spiders tank damage is the thulecite crown but obviously you'd have to be insane to farm thulecite crowns for an entire horde and even then they probably wouldn't work against higher end bosses.

the reason to use the cutter cap is by its 70% damage absorption. It makes nurse spider far more meaningful than those 90% def helmets.

a method for kiting your armies when fighting CC. This might be slow, but this is far more easier to learn and handle than kiting a pre-skill Abi.

Not sure about Gestalt Abi since I have completely no interest to use her.

I'll have to check the videos out later since my phone can't load them but the caps give at most 1 to 2 more hits while raising the resource cost of armoring just 10 spiders to 40 shells and 10 ropes.

No. To say survival ability is important for Abi doesn't means you can't suggest to nerf other thing from Wendy.

You may go ask to nerf Shadow Abi, then people have to go to use general or lunar form.

You may go ask to nerf pipspooks line for making the cure-all spamming become more expensive.

But for current forum it seems more like someone is obsessed with nerfing survival ability of Abi?

The biggest flaw of this poll is it presumes multiple instances cannot be overpowered.

Yes. Nursing Spider spam is overpowered.

Yes. Abigail with Gestalt, Player Entity protection, and Spectral Cure-all is overpowered.

Yes. being able to carry multiple Bernies and swap them out willy nilly is overpowered.

Yes. Wurt's Merm army is overpowered.

But honestly, whatever. Just remove any challenge from the game. It doesn't matter anymore.

The point lies on that "more challenge things are incoming but still in work", not lies on that "the old challenge was disabled".

this is an obviously update direction of Klei for these years. they trying to give more powerful character feature for preparing to face new potential challenge in future. the old challenge already were overcomed by these 10 years.

the only problem is the new challenges is still on their way, but the character buff already down here.
