Water balloons should make any mob wet so we could be encouraged to use morning star more

Recommended Posts

As the title says, I think the weapon is extremely underutilized and is extremely expensive with how many other better options exist, but at least if we get the opportunity to make mobs wet ourselves it could be an actually really good or decent weapon for boss fights or anything in general.

The idea of needing a mob to be wet is a big pain because water balloons only makes dragonfly or players wet. There should be a system where small mobs take less water balloons to give them the wet status and bigger mobs needing more so we could have an interesting weapon with waterballoon for utility to make use of it's increased damage by making the condition happen when caused by us.

For a weapon that's on par of feeling as expensive as a Thulecite club I believe that small tweak would satisfy many players on wanting to use it as a different choice to hambats, darksword or other weapon cause it'll boost regular character damage greatly without breaking damage numbers too much on damage amplified characters.

As a Warly main, I approve of this. There's no particular reason, don't think about why.

As another Warly main, I approve of your approval. This will be used to give beefalos some relief during summer and nothing else, don't worry about it!!!

I believe the technical reason is that rain affecting mobs would be too expensive, which is understandable.

however I think it can work if it only checks for balloons.

Also there's alot of sea mobs that never get wet for some reason??

Rain already grants the electric bonus against everything, right? I'm sure they could just disable the rain calculation on most mobs. (Or schedule updates every few seconds while raining.)

Just give them a watered down version of wetness.

Or add some kinda water balloon hit count with a timer for how long it'll take to get dry.

The people have spoken, the law is to yet have the effect. Now we wait till Klei does something about it.

Also, just so morning star wouldn't fall off post-rifts there should be some kinda upgrade imo. Maybe add recharging by using one of spark arks plus planar electric damage to creatures who are wet only.

I completely agree with this suggestion. All lightning weapons have always been trapped in damp requirements, which has made them almost spring specials or only able to deal with a few enemies. We need an auxiliary tool to unleash the ability of this type of weapon.

Because they did not want to see lightning weapons being abused, the damp state of marine life was removed, which goes against the facts. I think we should return damp marine creatures and give them lightning resistance.

When Morningstar can recharge, his utilization will increase instead of leaving all monsters soaked,

It can be upgraded with enlightenment fragments. It is a weapon that can shine. This is very special. It should be repairable.
