Little thoughts about Wortox being nice

I don't think that he should ever be neutral to mobs that already target him. I think people forget that to obtain souls he has to KILL something or be around death. Knowing this it kinda justifies the hostility canonically out of safety if the creatures in the constant are aware of what he is.

For naughty: Maybe a 10% increase to Krampus Sack drops? Idk I think a critical hit kind of multiplier would be interesting at the cost of additional souls too.

Personally, I'd rather just see their aggro range reduced a bit. They can see you from pretty far away, and this would help with making them much less of a nuisance. I don't think we should be able to befriend them, though. (Even though his inspect quote for Hollow Stumps makes me sad.)

I do think Naughty needs a more useful counterpart though, because I think the Nice bonuses are more useful in practice, especially in late-game when food supply doesn't matter much. I want something more universally useful and not designed for flavor alone, but the only thematic counterparts I can think of would be to increase naughtiness gain, or increase damage to mobs that give you naughtiness when you kill them. Neither are really very good, and I'd like to see Nice and Naughty on their own be pretty equally appealing. I dunno.

I suggested it in another thread, but a small damage decrease/increase respectively for a short time after eating a Soul could be nice, even if it's 5-10%, or a short duration that can only be used as an opener or during downtime during boss fights.

Inclination is weird, since you can't proactively choose them. I feel like the effects should be mild (more than currently, even, on healing and eating and sanity impact), in favor of a bit more variety instead. I think they're a great opportunity for some flavor instead of majorly impactful gameplay changes.

What if the souls are not attracted to Wortox while he is nice, but wander around on their own and possible damage things or buff anyone who walks over them? While naughty he steals them and they flow to him, while nice they remain on the ground and do other...things...?

Oh dw Wortox can already use pig king. Just not pigs themselves. Only Wurt has the issue with pig king.
