HellHeater
What are your favorite playthroughs of this game on youtube? I can't really find anything. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/160703-favorite-playthroughs/ Share on other sites
stefunny
What style of playthroughs are you looking for? I'm not sure if these are everyone's cup of tea but here are a few that i've personally watched and enjoyed - For general 100 days-style playthroughs, Ashlox has several 100 days vids, on DST, Hamlet, SW, Uncomp, Ocean base - I like his playthroughs because he has a chill type of vibe that's relaxing to watch. Mipojam has a one year lights out playthrough that was quite fun! Polarlotus also has a few playthroughs that are fun (some are themed challenges, e.g. seasonal themed). For more skill-oriented/boss-oriented playthroughs, Lord Lee has a Wigfrid CC Roadmap All Boss Run that's very funny and a great watch. I also really like Lardee137's "How to be S+ Tier" character vids, and INeedaNames has some fun Uncomp playthroughs. The Chosen One has an all bosses challenge run series as Wigfrid that was quite an entertaining watch too! I also recently discovered a small creator Brandi Shell that has a Let's Play series featuring Wortox and I enjoy her series as it's very laidback/lowkey. I am running out of adjectives ded For players discovering the game/franchise for the first time, I liked Floydson's solo DS vids, it's a pity he's only made 2 so far iirc and only in solo DS. Unfortunately, I don't think I know of a creator who has done vids that fits all of your criteria off the top of my head. It seems like 100 days-style is the current popular format for DST on Youtube so creators gravitate towards that, instead of longer let's plays. But none of the creators I listed above have brainrot editing for their playthroughs (iirc) and they all have (relatively) normal delivery, if that helps! This14Real
I always enjoyed watching demonrebuilt in the background while playing the game myself. Demon still posts really long playthroughs on his vods channel. @DemonRebuiltVODs Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/160703-favorite-playthroughs/#findComment-1757485 Share on other sites

Evelo
I don't. Don't Starve is one of those games, I think at least, that is horrible to watch but great to play. Like reverse sports balls or something. Lovens
I used to love watching Gabriel Gabriel's Winona series. A perfect mix of casual (not too advanced) gameplay, some tips and tricks, witty commentary sprinkled with funny memes here and there. Great editing, totally my kind of humour and easy to watch. Unfortunately the series stopped at some point and I'm pretty sure he lost this Winona world, and a lot of the tips and strategies are now irrelevant/obsolete due to Winona skill tree. Impressed someone said this For me, my experience was I liked to watch streamers/Lets Plays a lot ages ago, but the more experienced I got at DS/T, the less I ended up watching streams/LP’s. I think streams are personally great for less skilled players to get tips by watching more experienced gameplay/ideas for things to do, but once you are skilled it became a bit more cumbersome for me to watch streams for actual gameplay, and more for if I liked the streamer/LPer a lot. I do still tune in to streams time to time, but its less for watching and more for background noise/other convos, not so much for watching it in particular. It is still nice to have some noise while doing something generic like crockpot cooking or farming boards. I agree with that but due to few reasons, I won't be able to play the game in the next 215 days. I'm bored. JavierDraws
Even though I myself play the game and generally don't watch more modern DST playthroughs, I always find myself watching videos from Lieutenant Volx's DST and DS playthroughs as they always bring a smile to my face remembering those days. I enjoy watching people play dst a lot more now that I’m fairly experienced with the game than before. I really like seeing first time impressions or people who are absolute casuals playing the game, maybe it’s just me yearning to have that first time with it again after so much time playing it.
