When Will Xbox One Get the Depths of Duplicity Update?

So I’m aware that the Depths of Duplicity update has been pushed back on the Xbox One due to some bugs and other technical issues. 

But for those like myself who was unfortunate enough to update it during that time, have lost access to our old saves as they are all from the newer version of Don’t Starve Together And are completely unplayable until we get the D.O.D update 

I haven’t seen no information about a time frame and wondering when will this be fixed so I can play my old worlds and use some of the new skins I purchased during the update

even a little bit of information regarding the updates would go a long way.

Probably sometime next week, Xbox has to go through a certification process for patch updates and it can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to go through, what really disappoints me though is that PlayStation has the update AND a patch to the update while Xbox version can literally be unplayable for people right now…

(and they wonder why Xbox has the lowest amount of players for DST haha..)

I deeply wish Klei would hire a group of people who’s sole purpose is to design the game for a specific console platform.

Hire a team who does Xbox, a Team for Switch etc…

And if they did that we could get controller and playability improvements and we hopefully wouldn’t end up in more situations like this where the new update was released but wasn’t ready to be released.

Perhaps what makes me most upset about that is that they went from doing one update per month to taking more time and having 3-4 months between updates-

Yet somehow this STILL released in a broken status.

CERT for Xbox is a 5-day process excluding Saturdays and Sundays (There are exceptions but don't expect them). If it goes bad, devs can pull out and resubmit to save time, like if they find a bug a day after they submit, they can pull the update out apply the fix and submit again. It really all depends, small updates can usually get out quicker because they are smaller. "Early access" games can bypass CERT but this game is not "Early access". If at any point they detect something faulty it gets sent back and they have to resubmit, which can take a little time.

Hopefully an early week release but it's still crazy to me they rolled back an entire update because people couldn't join games through the server browser. .You could still join if you got invited.

Sorry for the inconvenience. As you said, there was a crash that resulted in us needing to roll back the update. We also have a networking issue that we found while fixing that up and we'll get it released as soon as we clear that up.

It's hard to give an estimate in a situation like this but I can tell you that we're actively working on it and we'll get it out to you as soon as we can.

Always surprises me it’s not Switch. The game is no fun to play due to caves being bugged, at least on my console.
