The recent updates are not interesting

Recommended Posts

Most of your recent updates, except for the skill tree, are not interesting. It may be because you have lost your love for the game after making money

Regarding equipment, bows and arrows can be made.

2. Weapon durability increases, some divine weapons are permanently durable, without durability only reduces damage, will not be destroyed, and need to replenish energy when durability is low.

3. There is no need to restrict players from being able to attack remotely.

4. You don't need to be afraid of disrupting the balance, you just need to make the monsters stronger over time after the four seasons, that is, after the player survives for a year in the game. For example, after 200 days, the Four Seasons boss becomes smarter, with increased attack skills and behavior, and sometimes the boss can scare players.

5. Regarding ordinary bows and arrows, they can be made in the early stages of the game. When accumulating power, their movement slows down, and the longer they accumulate power, the higher their damage and distance. Minimum damage of 10 points. Maximum damage of 30 points.

6. The equipment bar can have 3, 4, and 5 slots, which can be selected before the game. Do not allow players to download mods using the equipment bar, as mods have too many bugs that affect the player experience as the game updates.

6. Collect some mods and try not to download them for players.

I don't think ranged damage should be made easily accessible early on. A huge part of the early stages of this game is getting absolutely rocked by all the enemies until you claw your way to having good gear. Giving early ranged weapons beyond something like a boomerang would have a negative impact on the game overall.

Actually…. I’m kind of confused about quite a few things about DSTs rifts.

the first and most obvious thing to be confused over is why Lunar Hail can be ignored by just standing under a tree without any sort of helmets, armor or additional protection?

The second thing is there are certain mobs that have different types of looks when rifts are active (getting a streak of red hue) However… It doesn’t do what it probably SHOULD Do, such as- Changing regular Shadow creature encounters into being more dangerous by giving them new attacks or combat/kiting patterns. A Crawling Horror or Terrorbeak still has the exact same combat pattern early game as they do late game after they miss trying to attack you they go into an animation of screaming out in frustration leaving them vulnerable to attack.

I don’t think that it should take rocket scientists to figure out that hey.. maybe when rifts are active and they look particularly more gnarly they can maybe be more aggressive toward attacking the player, have a new attack type and maybe just in general NOT be exactly the same “Late Game” as they are early game?

That's mean and harsh for what is not true just because you dislike the recent updates. Get outa here with that attitude.

Honestly i really disliked the last game updates but this is a harsh thing to say, any weapon that can be repaired is alredy op, just take a look at shield of terror/mask and endgame stuff not to mention wanda clock, giving this to early players won't gonna make them better, if anything we should get variety besides a hambat or dsword being the only options, not a ranged weapon to make monsters feel even more stale. My personal problem with don't starve early game is that is draged, you are oblidged to rush stuff to have anything decent and that on my point of view isn't a healthy thing to any game no matter the genre, still it's just my opnion, probably someone who like megabase will disagree or people who rush ruins every run but the point is, we should have been oblidged to ?
