IAmAFurrz Posted August 25, 2024 Share Posted August 25, 2024 I hope it doesn't, as i think it is not only an unnecessary animation change, but an extremely bad one. Animation before was a downwards motion, weapons can even go below your character's feet, so gravity is doing its thing + exaggeration makes it more impactful and more satisfying Animation now is a sideways swipe, weapons go from 1 side to the other with the weapon going far FAR to the other side, a very weak motion, even less impactful than a backhand slap imo. weapons seemingly go against gravity, animation is stunted bc of the survivors' short arms, and its even worse of a motion if you dont take into account the attack animation from the side is still the same as before, a downwards motion. I know it won't affect actual gameplay but i genuinely hate that animation so much, it is jarring, and since it gets used in gameplay so much i just can't help but voice my opinion on it.
