Insufficient Oxygen Generation calculations

Recommended Posts

I've noticed that when using Alveo for oxygen production, there is always a notification that the amount generated is insufficient. The issue appears to be that when oxylite is sublimating from a natural tile, this is counted as part of the oxygen generation equation.  However, if it is sublimating from debris, it is not. So if you have oxylite in Oxylite Sconces, or in Storage Bins, the sublimation to oxygen doesn't count.

Here's a screenshot from 15 Alveo Vera farm tiles. They should produce enough oxygen for four dupes.  I currently have three dupes, so you'll notice that my base is a little over-pressure -- yet apparently I am not producing enough oxygen for my dupes.

Here's also a screenshot from my Daily Report from the previous cycle, showing the major deficit of oxygen production:

Clearly this is an oversight.  Has anyone else noticed this problem?

I kind of gotten used to the warning message by now.
You can have 100's of tons of oxylite in store, multiple sconces with oxylite but according to game you are still not generating enough oxygen.
And in stats none of oxylite based generation is counted - only the deodorizers there from that bits and pieces of polluted oxygen caught by them during that cycle.

OK, so it isn't just me. And you're right, I went back and double-checked and natural oxylite doesn't count either.  I thought that perhaps it did because before I set up my Alveo farms, I did not have the insufficient warning.  Clearly I'm producing oxygen, because the average oxygen cell is sitting at 2600g, but none of it gets counted.
