Clearer X marks the spot map indicators, among other things.

So we're clear, I'm appreciative of how lucrative ocean exploration is. I've been seeing across public servers that many are really interacting with sailing a lot more than ever. Pubs are full of exotic trees and people making meatballs out of nightberries. You love to see it.

A big problem of the ocean is the visibility of the X marks the spot indicators. You spend so much time trying to look for them and waste perhaps half a day on merely looking at the map and without brighter indication, you mess up your logistics and travel planning.

@ADM, a very talented and well known modder and contributor to the community made a server side mod that displays what is possible within the game. Very simple and if I'm not mistaken, the X's are stacked on top of the fog of war within the map.

Logically, it checks out. The player character I assume draws the map, and wouldn't it be obvious for the player character to highlight important points of interest?

i agree, cus im blind af, especially if most of area is already discovered. either make it as base game to make them more visible or add it to benefit when equipping captain's tricorn or polly roger hat .
i mean u are the captain i bet u can see where x mark clearer is kinda make sense XD

Now it has become a matter of accessibility, Klei. If I, someone with beyond 20:20 vision that is possibly 20:15 and has no colorblindness has trouble seeing the X's on the map, what more for someone who is playing your game but is legally blind?

Would you mind linking this mod? Thanks!
