Warly's Memory rework idea:

Recommended Posts

I'm mainly referring to the fact that it's more rewarding to eat the same big dish (Meat Stew) every 2 days instead of cooking and eating smaller dishes, such as Butter Muffins, Fistfuls of Jam, or Ratatouille.

Wouldn't it be more fun if his memory wasn't time based, but combo based instead? The bigger your combo, the more +flat bonuses he will be getting for each dish in the combo chain.

For example: If he eats the same dish, it will be 50% less effective. If he cycles between 2 different dishes, those will be 25% less effective. If he cycles between 3 dishes, then there will be no penalty and no bonuses. If he cycles between 4 dishes, then there will be a flat +10 to Hunger/Sanity/HP. Cycle between 5 dishes = +20 to Hunger/Sanity/HP on every dish, and so on...

This would reward players for knowing crock pot recipes and at the same time won't punish players who rely mostly on 3-4 base recipes.

This is a good idea but the title is misleading

I am not sure about how the title is misleading, but then I probably don't have the exact same definition of a rework that other people have in this forum.

I mean....after all it is a REDONE version of how the memory function could be impact the game.

[Apart from that I LOVE IT, although I don't play Warly, but I LOVE IT because it would downright ANNOY me, if there was a "thousand" crockpot dishes but even as THE COOKING character, you don't get enough motivation to actually use the whole variety you are provided with.]

The reason it’s misleading is it doesn’t have anything to do with memory

Sorry I thought it had to do with Warly's specific food mechanic which I missunderstood as partly involving a "memory" function (not literally just coding wise that the GAME remembers what he ate).
