Please give a little love to Garland and Seawreath

These two hats are representative items for dealing with Sanity/Enlightenment, although their effects are not ideal. I hope they can have special abilities to remove filters and sounds brought by low Sanity/high Enlightenment, making the world appear beautiful on the surface. Even if shadow creatures and Gestalts still appear, it can at least provide people with some psychological comfort and encourage them to bravely face those creatures:鼓励:.

Of course, for Wurt, their effect is also the opposite.

we should be able to combine garland and the enlightened crown, honestly. The garland skins are incredible, but also, the garland in base looks good too. 

Bonus points if the gestalts become petals.

 

Unfortunately, this will never happen while I'm not currently owner of klei. Which is why I will start a gofundme to purchase klei from tencent.

When we are still rookies at a loss when facing sanity challenges, Garland may be the first thing that can protect us, like a beam of light in the darkness, giving us some hope. Its symbolism is greater than its practicality, so I want it to have the ability to remove those crazy filters and sounds. Even if rookies have learned to manage sanity in the future, there are still areas where it can be used.
The same goes for Seawreath.

Weird and nonsensical addition.

 

If the filter bothers people they will use mods. Its an accessibility thing, shouldnt be locked behind an item

Why do you think I'm adding new features to items to people who dislike filters? My goal is to make an item more meaningful, as it describes. Wearing Garland can temporarily block those fears and illusions, and after taking it off, you will return to that crazy world. Low Sanity filters and sound are also part of the game, and I hope there will be more interaction between items and them, making them more interesting.

The skill created by Klei is too conservative, and it seems difficult for them to judge whether the new content is balanced, which is a serious problem.

the skill is already unfitting in my opinion (She already has fish for sanity and never really struggled with it), buffing the seawreath would put the final nail in the coffin.

The seawreath is so pathetic that eating the kelp raw instantly lowers your sanity barely less than wearing the hat for the full duration. If Klei wants us to use it for its intended purpose, chilling on the lunar island, then it should be way more.

Yeah but if it is straining my eyes or something, i shouldn't be forced to wear a garland or something. Also, it would make sense for a special helmet rather than somple flowers or soggy kelp. It don't make sense these lowest teir sainity items have more power than everything elsd.

It seems that you didn't understand what I meant. I added new features to these two items to enhance their interaction with the game mechanics, unrelated to other aspects. If players feel that game filters are causing trouble, they can certainly choose to use mods, and nothing can lock their choice.
The reason for choosing Garland isn't because of its strong recovery ability, but because it is the most representative item, and dealing with sainity challenges is the reason for its existence, and the same goes for Seawreath.

This is a contradiction in Klei's design ideas. They added seawreath to correspond with garland, indicating that sainity and enlightenment also correspond in management methods. But the problem is that the vast majority of things that increase sainity/enlightenment in the game are considered "rewards", while reducing sainity/enlightenment is considered "punishment", so you can effortlessly obtain "punishment" to reduce enlightenment, which makes the seawreath very ridiculous.

I agree. If the skin of garland is combined with the enlightened crown, the effect must be very amazing.
