placing merm structures on docks and boats

currently only pig houses and bunny hutches can be placed on those,

the swamp turf requirment on merm structures prevents placing them currently,

but thematically it makes more sense to place a mermhouse on a boat then a pig or bunny house.

 

I suggest including boats and docks as a possible turf for all the merm structures.

I hate to poo poo on your suggestion, but I'd personally rather see new turfs on docks. For a "Swamp" turf, I'd like to see a mossy covering on docks. 

And naturally, have the "mossy" dock make it act exactly like swamps in functions of wurt

I don't know. But recently, a mod was made where you can put a farm plot on the center of a boat. You could petition klei for something like that. Placing a "Turf" on the center of a boat as well. I think it would be great to have groovier solutions to certain things we don't have in the game that isn't a straight shoehorn.

watermerm den would be cool to see, instead of a huge house it would be more like the marotter den, overgrown or kelp based

Or the new type of boat called kelp boat and maybe do something like that for docs
