Questions regarding Wurt Skills

So I am looking at all the skills for Wurt and checked the Armermy and the Superior Armermy as well as their respective helmets.

The Armermy states in the Scrapbook, "Swamp Brawler Helmets are a cheap way for a merm to get 50% protection from damage for a short while."

Meanwhile the Swamp Brawler Helmet states in the Scrapbook, "210 health, 30% protection"

The Superior Armermy states, "... 70% protection from damage for a longer period of time."

While the Swamp Warrior Helmet states, "315 health, 50% protection."

So which is it?

Additionally, the King's Pauldron Quest on the wiki states, "... provide 15% damage protection for all loyal Merms with head armor and 10% protection for Wurt." Is this true? The damage reduction only applies while wearing head armor? The other two are quite useful just wondering.

Lastly, I am curious what your builds are. I am very unimpressed by the marsh transformations and am going to not take that trait nor take the 2 amphibious traits that cause wetness since it all seems like a rather mediocre package.

The information that keeps being shared around says this but I've confirmed in game that these protections are active on Wurt even without armor so I think it's a Wigfrid situation with Wurt and merms getting a innate damage reduction
