I really dislike the Wurt Skill Tree (in my personal opinion) because the whole amphibian branch is ignorable, aswell as the King's hunger skills.

It also didn't fix the main weakness of wurt, which is how it takes an entire season to build your kingdom. Effectively making her a slower version of Maxwell

The weakness is justified. After you build your kingdom, you play the game on autopilot. Both resource gathering, ruins clearing, bosses, are done trivially and very fast. She is MUCH better than Maxwell.

I mean it sorta did the tools make resource gathering insanely fast and now post setup she's far above Maxwell competing with bearger instead.

The toolshed can be made in the first day due to it's lax materials as well.

Also you need far less merms overall now.

I was honestly ready to give the tree a fair shake but the level of bugginess with the new allignment merms was a massive detriment, to the point where I couldn't really fairly consider the rest.

Also can I just say: For the love of ******* god, remove the goddamn marsh turf requirements from Wurt's structures. It's pure fluff that makes building with her actively irritating for absolutely no reason. It was bad enough with Merm houses, but dealing with the Kelp feeding dishes and toolsheds having the same restriction really just hammered home to me how pointless and irritating it is.

It isn't even a restriction that ends up making thematic sense - I can dig up the marsh turf afterwards anyway. But hey - you can't build houses on piers or boats so I guess all is well in the world. Wouldn't want Merms to be able to live over the water after all - that's for Bunnymen and Pigmen. :crushed:

maybe having weaknesses is good, too bad the lategame merms still arent very interesting beyond the huge buffs to combat.

i think the tools are fine, i mean, if the player uses it its a worse axe or pickaxe, but it still works for tilting the land and shoveling other things, or well, the other merms can now log shoveling and tilting

well maybe only the first version, the second not so much

Still don't know how any Wurt Player would like this Skilltree? I mean the Merm Buffs are great but why need them :c

Also i dont like to have base in Sweamp, now i 24/7 need to get there to get Mosquitos.. and really in a GROUP NO ONE want to base iwth you in Swamp, because its "ugly" for most, because of Mosquitos and and and..

I mean 1 Season isn't even enough. Also consider how much stuff you put in all the Structures that Maxwell doesnt need, he could safed them for 10000 other stuff.

Well i hoped Merms didn't get many Buffs so that you actual be more usefull as Wurt alone and not only for your Merms. But sadly the only good thing about Amphibian is the Shield, rest sucks. Same with Mosquito Branch.. yeah
Also this "After Lategame" ... So i need to spend 1 million ressources to be efficient as Maxwell with 1 Nmf?  I mean even when you after a TONS of Merms be more efficient you still wasted 1 million Ressources which he can use for what ever.

and then the same in Caves :> Yippie. (and yes i know you can kill Mermking over and over but really is that good Lorewise? I mean she loves her mermfolk and its the most efficient way for her to kill her own king she created? Thats sad.

I need like 1 Minute to till a big garden alone, wow now Merms do it .. super helpful.

They could like make Fisher-Merm,
Wurt Swim,
Give her a cool Weapon
let Wurt be stronger and not only Merms (and you also need to spend more expensive things for this than other chars), like 1000 persons suggested but nope.
Mudslinger still super high Cooldown for 2 Minute Marsh (wwhich also doesnt help if a Boss moving)
Also with the Merm Skill that they retreat if low health, they still stand in AoE dmg doing nothing.

Well i hoped with the Skilltree Wurt will be more usefull for ALL the Team and not still or even more a Solo-World-Character i mean its dont starve TOGETHER-
and i also hoped Wurt will be more usefull in Early Game, but nope.

But why still talk about it, Klei doesnt give a damn.

Edit: Sorry haha but i don't know after 1.600 hours playing, after waiting SO LONG on Wurt Skilltree im just Omega disappointed i think i should just take a break from this game because evertime i log in im like super disappointed and log out again xD.
