Should Lunar Catapults Hit NM Creatures?

I can understand keeping Willow and Winona separate, however consider Bernie can do it day 1 for free and Winona has to not only reach rift content, but use the brilliance to power the gemerator.

Okay but then that asks the question why can't shattered spiders or empowered mutant merms attack shadow creatures?

Because those are physical creatures and the lunar catapult is firing an explosion of nonphysical lunar magic.

The reverse logic is what it works on though as non physical energy is the exact opposite of what harms shadow creatures.

That's because it's considered part of the player Wurt's mosquitos bombs do the same thing which is the exact opposite of energy based.

Okay so a mosquito bomb made by a child can hit shadows, but the end-game catapult that uses lunar power and creates the exact same effect as the lunar bomb that is able to hit said creatures can't?
Do you not see how silly that is?

So a catapult fueled by lunar late game energies should be able to hit shadow creatures but merms empowered by the energy that makes them beings of the opposite force their mortal enemies can't? The same logic applies.

Well, merms cannot see the creatures, and the catapults can't see them either, but that's why winona has the remote. The remote lets Winona hit them. So now the logic of players hitting the creatures applies.

But merms can Wurt and shadow merms prove this.

Okay so merms should be allowed to hit nm creatures too then, if they can see them, and physical damage is what hurts nightmares, then wurt and her army should be allowed to damage nm creatures.

This would open up a whole can of worms worth of problems.
