Kelp and fish farm- Marroters!!!

Hi evryone, when this beta was released, we all focused on crab king and skill tree futures, but it’s time for talk about Marroters! So these nasty creatures are more useful than you might think. In this guide, I will show you how to use them to farm kelp and fish meat. :3

 

 

First things first! You need to find these dudes. They often live near Coast. If you wanna use them to this farm you need to kill them then empty their house. Next you need to swim on their den to coast to have better access to the farm.

You can use sharkboi portlas to move nest near your base.

 

Soo let’s get to the point. It’s basic verson of this farm- it only produce kelps and basic materials.

Oars- Oars are here to fill Marroter nest, Marroter will drop collected items at entrence to their nest if it’s filled, oars are best to this job becasue they are unstackable and easy to craft.

W.O.B.O.T- it’s just better to this job than W.I.N.B.O.T cause his durablity depends of job he done, not on time.

Salt box- it’s keep your kelp fresh for 40 days!!!!

Chest- just chest Bro.

 

Let’s talk about suprime version.

W.I.N.B.O.T- this time it’s better option, Marroter will try to steal fish from your salt box, soo you need TWO W.I.N.B.O.Ts too put fish back to safe place.

G.E.Merator- You need best energy source too power your W.I.N.B.O.Ts

Salt box- this time you need bigger item imput cause bots need constant information about this storage.

Some tips:

-You can plant sea weeds near fishfarms to lure more fishes

-You can create this farm near salt foration (BUT NOT TOO NEAR) Marrote will kill cookie cutters.

The only use i found to this critter was putting all the nests on fire and waving goodbye lol (I not main willow but is just this littles always are stealing my kelp when i'm doing Merm King).

I also like to stack my kelp when playing as wurt is so nice to see that also works as well with the marotters.

And don't forget the Eyebrella rain is bad for Wobot! poor little ironfolk...

Neat farm but i just stack up all my kelp and use the shadow reaper to get them all. Also the otter has to be loaded in to gather stuff so it's kind of inefficient

Yerah, i wish that klei will add some upgrade to ocuvigil, soo it can keep area loaded. ;/
