Is the Teletransport Station not finished? It does not transport items. I mean, it teleports items with you if you stand on it, but that makes no sense. It serves the same function as a telelocator focus this way, with an extra addition of picking up seeds a bird put on it.

If it is not finished, alright.

If it is finished, please at least change the description, since it is confusing...

 

The only use for it I can see is transporting equipment you dropped on it (since it doesn't stack) from the ruins to your base quickly, BUUUT, it does not have enough range, so this use is not possible.

 

It would be wonderful if it was actually useful (range is atrociously small, cannot even use it as a cheaper telelocator focus). And if WINbot could put items on it to transport it to corresponding chests, that would be chef's kiss.

I think it works more or less ok. Can transport heavy items even. Though the range feels much too short atm.

It teleports items alright, but only with you, with your interference, and with teleporting you also. Why would you even use it if you have your inventory? It should have an additional function imo.

cause it sure beats having to make several trips to get all the items. the inventory is only so big, after all. plus it's pretty good for transporting heavy objects, as moving a large quantity of them can take some time.

I wouldn't be opposed to it being able to send out items without the player, though.

It would be nice to to right click on the item you wanna send and it only teleports the item, not you too. Or even right click on the teletransport station itself and teleport everything that's on top of it.

I think you should be able to put a chest on top of it, and teleport items inside the chest from other stations ngl

I think the description needs to be changed, I mean isn’t maxwell’s magician’s box only purpose to transport items between places? Why add the exact same thing again? If Maxwell builds a network of those boxes anyone can use it and there is no need to have a lesser and more complicated version of the same thing, IMO

I agree that the range is tiny and it could be a bit longer. Probably not Wanda or Wortox levels but at least a biome and a half away. And it doesn’t seem to have the added function of teleporting to another telepad if you stand in one already, it seems to be a quick jump to bypass some obstacles, like jumping to a (very very close) island.

I think If you stand above one and activate the telebrella, it should highlight any other telepad within range on your map, for you to pick where to land. With enough time and grind you can maybe create your own “wormhole” network by jumping from one telepad to another. Or just carry around 2 to quickly being able to move between two places that are not too distant of one another. (EG: while cleaning ruins to the complete station of your choice)

That’s exactly what Maxwell’s magician box does.
Personally I don’t see a point to just make the same thing again, the same way I don’t see a point in Wurt’s fertilizer (unless they patch it in a way where her merms can use that to attend farms, or something different)

Oh, while we're on the topic of these items, I'm not sure if this will get added later on or if it was left out, but without the telebrella's proximity indicator,  it's really hard to see when you're in range of a teleplatform, especially considering the portasol lets you activate it even out of the platforms range, essentially not doing anything(are there even any benefits to doing so? do you get i-frames during it?)

No. Imagine if WINbot could deposit items on top of the Telepads instead. The Telepads teleport items to a chest. You misunderstood. Full automation of fe. spider farms, with items being teleported by Winona's technology into the Elastispacer expanded chests with unlimited slots.

If winbots could use those to extend their range of action or even teleport themselves without players interference, to carry items back home to their specified chest, that would be great indeed.
