I am currently working on testing this but I have no idea where to find the pauldron and crown, I have a feeling it's with sunken chests, but ones spawned via commands drop nothing and message bottles so far only show Pearl.

Pauldron is from scrappy werepig and the crown is probably talking about the cult of the lamb crown, which you can in the oasis fishing pound.

Crown is just a thulecite crown sadly

i saw on another thread of mutated looking merms; im trying to find out about those

It's the lunar path ability the staff you get corrupts a area making it marsh zone with enlightenment any merms or merm guards get mutated when they enter that zone and survivors becomes enlightened.Screenshot(121).png.6bc4727d21e037195fff07f303e8426c.pngScreenshot(122).png.2f6fc467936e72c21237b1a171466050.png

The mutated merms shoot their spikes out like wormwood's bramble armor when hit.

The shadow path doesn't mutate them but I think it revives them after death instead I haven't quite tested it yet so I'm not sure

Is the turf permanently convert to marsh? It's pretty cool but this would ruin some decorated boss arena...

No it's for a limited time and the staff has a fairly long cooldown.

the merms stay mutated though but a problem they cause is they can hurt each other with their damage reflect leading to infighting...
