Mightiestmouse
Me and my friends have been playing for years but never managed to get to end game stuff. About 2 years ago, I had to research it through multiple YouTube videos and make a 2 page to do list. Now that list is very much outdated and I don’t want to do that again so I was wondering if someone knew of a video, or had a list of things in order of what things you need and who to fight for them. Anis5240
Well, there's no real ending to the game yet. We have two sides of the "story" now, lunar and shadow. The shadow side is pretty much just about the same as in A New Reign (barely touched upon, even in the Return of Them arc). The lunar side, well... let's just say it's tedious at best. And there's this random ass werepig that got high over pure horror (more potent form of nightmare fuel), then later get suited up via junks. There are both shadow and lunar rifts, after you killed the respective bosses. New crafts, new weapons, new mechanics, etc. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/156488-how-to-beat-the-game/#findComment-1718898 Share on other sites

Mike23Ua
Unlike solo don’t starve which has a definitive and definite end.. DST does not “currently” have that, so there’s no actual way of beating the game. Just some things you can do and then say you’ve done everything I guess.. But the entire design structure of not just DS but also DST (and the reason I enjoy the franchise) is that they’re designed to be near infinitly replayable by giving you a new randomly generated map/world to explore and attempt to conquer every time you start a new save. GetNerfedOn
The game's endgame stage constantly updates with each passing patch. I myself have not reached Celestial Champion despite having been playing since 2018. (Especially because ive been stuck farming as much as I can for RWYS). Here are a couple of helpful infographics courtesy of Swag on Discord: Lunar Shadow If you need a detailed trandlation just let me know lmao After each route's final boss there's going to be a specific item you need to provide to a specific NPC. For the shadow route, you need 5 Dreadstone from the Nightmare Werepig you can find in the mud biome in the ruins; for the Lunar Route you need one Enlightened Crown Shard, which thankfully the Celestial Champion also drops. After that is content surrounding alignment specific rifts that open in the Caves and aboveground, respectively. Apart from crafts, armor and mobs, both rifts' content revolve around the addition of Planar Damage and Protection, which to make a long story short reduces the effectiveness of pre-rift weapons against post rift mobs, which encourages the use of post rift weapons and armor. arubaro
Explore without fearing losing the world (or change settings to make revival more unforgiving) Caves are a good place to start Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/156488-how-to-beat-the-game/#findComment-1718942 Share on other sites
