fabin Posted May 30, 2024 Share Posted May 30, 2024 as it is right now, pearl's trades are very, VERY underwhelming unless you plan to fish 24/7, so i think for the upcoming "ocean QOL" update they should look into them a bit for example, they could add some trades related to tasks instead of friendship level (e.g: pearl will trade x number of berries for 1 bottle once you planted berry bushes on her island, or she'll trade x amount of honey for 1 bottle per flower planted, etc.) and trade lures earlier, so even if you have only done the drying task, you'd still be able to get fishing gear early game, where ocean fishing would be most useful (and also add an ocean fishing rod trade, please) they could also add boating-related trades, such as a tin-fishing bin kit trade, a boat kit trade (it could be an unique boat, like a shell encrusted boat with a bit more hp) and maybe boat patches. but i'm not too sure on that, since she's just a fisherwoman, not a sailor what do you guys think? Brago-sama Posted May 30, 2024 Share Posted May 30, 2024 Ive been hoping for some buffs to ocean fishing for a while and with this being the ocean update, and there being a sea fishing rod in the Klei streams thumbnail, i feel theres a good chance for her trades to be looked at. Id love to be able to trade resources for bottles. If theyre not going to give us a fish bait craft recipie then this would at least be a nice alternative. Im indifferent to the fish rod trade but i wouldnt mind it and maybe more trades.
